Growing OUTDOORS SWAMP LAND NEED HELP ON ANY TIPS...

I hope that people read this, because I am in need of some knowledgable opinions. Here I go; first off I am not new to growing although I still consider myself a rookie at it. Considering there is so much to know about growing, I only hope to gain more knowledge from you guys/girls. I will be asking questions throughout this growing season, so I will no bore all of you with everything at once. (LOL) First things first, the spot picked is good and secluded, but I will not have time to water all the time, if ever. So I have picked spots near ponds/swamps/lakes. Any information regarding what to plant in,how far to plant from water, possibly just planting in ground? I dont really have clue to growing in swamp. Any information helping me will be greatly appreciated.

Grow in a bucket and hide it in some brush with chicken wire and coyote piss to fend off all the critters.
yea dosent no what he's doing....

ok theres a method to this just like a hydro system thats been developed over many years there called
swamp tubes

heres how u make it,

what ull need-
chicken wire
black industrial lining
saw
shovel
and some good ol duck tape

now what u do is u
take the shovel dig a small hole wide and deep, then take your
chiken wire and make a 2 ft circle, then take your lining and put it inside leave the bottom open make sure its open and the dirt u put in will not fall over cause itll become one with the ground, tape it on the side, then take your saw cut 4-5 ft straight sticks to use as stakes, then make sure ur structure is secure fill with soil and plant your crop, the plant will grow into a t bush and nobody ,nobody will c any of the unaturall parts u can use these year after year, jsust cover after harvast with something

if u use buckets your not going to have any good of a harvast, qp a plant max,
and ur gonna lose a cupple or more from fall overs, drainage is gonna be hell, with the tubes they dont have a bottom so the just follow gravity

now u have the knoledge its ur choice to use it,
1 bale of promix $30 a piece
two tubes per bale
1+ lb per plant if u do it right,
watering isnt a big issue, bugs are, ur gonna need a good repelant, and a early strain, to keep mold from existing,
u could use soil but its alot heavyer and more time consuming and alot more trips which makes a bigger trail,
hope u got things going already cause u are far behind my area, already growing,
3-4 nod a foot tal root system arleady established,

heavy harvast is the way u wanna go

http://www.progressive-growth.com/hydroponic_recipe-advanced_nutrients_heavy_harvest.php

5lbs =8 dollars
i got
all 3 blends of ferts and neem oil for $57
aply each blend once a season.
alll timed release,ph ballanced so no root burn and if ur in the swamp u just come in look at growth and all, apply your fert and leave come back a cupple weeks later,
easy and safe....

Hey capone could you post any pictures of your planting method? I don't understand what you mean about how to put the chicken wire. Also not sure how to put the liner you are talking about in either. Thanks in advance.

yea illl explain in more detail for you guys....

first pic is pre dig and stake,

second pic is black lining, it can be garbage bag or any type of plastic that will keep the dirt in there

thrid pic is the results and u can see it would be hard for you to see this from a distance, also its impossible to c from the air,

these arnt my personal pics so im not going to take credit for them,....a friends i guess u could say, enjoy and ask away

Growing in a swamp is an extreme PITA. Make sure the water is not stagnant.

Try find a spot where you can dig down 2' and not hit water, then wait to see if the holes start to fill with ground water. If it does its too wet.

i dont no what peta means, to be honest id love to no.
but yea most pple who grow in swamps are growing on water the soil drains real well threw the bottom acutally, pretty much what your doing is wraping up a bunddle of soil and putting it there so the plant can grow, most marijuana plants wont grow in straight flooded water, so if u grow in swamps the police are less likely to look, thats the hole idea, put a bunch of these around like 20- in a cupple acres pull out like 15lbs and be on your way, i dont no what yall do but next year im going to the swamps for sure get me some good leggings and a bunch of bales of promix and off i go in another state gone,
its easy to pull about 3-500 grams off a plant depending on strain my plants are already like on there 5th nod and there 2 weeks old as of sunday, so you can see how welll this works just spary insectaside on the outside and on the soil and plant they dont fuck with your shit at all, no rats are going to be out there, the deer are scared of the unatural fish line and dead animal i put in the area so its pretty easy with this methiod wish i had more swamps in my area,

just drank one old english 32oz now im on my cobra 32oz, will see what happens i dont drink much and ive smoked 40 dollars on weed lets see what happens...lol....
\good luck to all:fire::leaf:

The easiest way is to simply put ur weed in 3 or 5 gallon pots and place them in the crown of some palmettos. Put some wire through the pot holes at the bottom and lash it to the Palmetto for wind and storms. If you plant in the ground in or near Palmetto & other brush.... you stand a good chance at having termites. There is so much decaying matter underneath the Palmettos....the termites are everywhere....doing their job of course.

If you are worried about ppl walking through the area...paint the outside of the pots green and make a map...so YOU can find them later.

lol... what ever works best for the person i guess, for me, ill get a much much bigger yeild in 20gallons of soil way before 5, cause "the bigger the roots the bigger the fruits" right?

o by the way it was alot of fun i ended up drinking the hole next day cause of my head ache to slowly let me down...lol...worked alright id say,
one cobra32oz and one old english32oz, thats the main reason i hate drinkin cause the hang over is a fkn pain in the ass,

but it is resonable easy actually to grow in the swamps your biggest problems are gonna be snakes if your scared of them or worried, what ever floats your boat, then probably gonna be bugs which i no this guy thats been growin out in swamps for 20 plus years and he stands by some powder thats like seven or something...idk.
but if something is wrong with his plants weather flys, ants, spiders, nats, w.e the case might be if it lives he puts his powder on there and a cupple dead animals, cause lets face it if another animal sees death hes gonna assocaite that place with death, then u put some mt. lion piss up there, them deer will pick up and move outa town,lol....

the buckets thing if you want like 5oz or less per plant you can go with that a good personal use type method not putting it down itll get the job done but if your lookn for some monsters id go with the tubes, and the thing is with the tubes you can put them on hill sides were ever your green thumb may take you,
the plant never runs outta root space and you dont have to dig all u do is throw up a lil contraption, i make mine at home stack them flat and put them in a trash bag, like ten to a bag,

but as i was saying the 5gal thing will work, my advice is to dig a small indention in the ground to give it support cause the hole wire thing i dont c working but in my area 8-9ft tress is common. so idk, depends were your at ,your situation your business
just like i got my situtation and my business:hump:....
so good luck stay safe capone, bust yall down a cupple beers:twisted:

If you grow weed in palmetto areas in the "ground"....you will grow trees, and they will be VERY VISIBLE.

Match ur grow to ur habitat.

I think the white powder your reffering to is diatomaceous earth, i've used it to fend off red ants before, this stuff is the truth and 100% all organic. Piss on chemical insecticides, if Iwanted to smoke chemicals I would buy some Reds from the gas station. Best of luck to all the Swamp Growers! ~~~ dude

ok so how do you apply that to your plant just spread it on like pinches of it? and curious to see as if you guys think its posssible to dig holes near the swamps where the soil is moist in 2x3 holes filled with prime soil would yield anything good.. the place im planting is a huge park that is in the middle of no located in the great lakes region. that park is full of swamps and i plan on planting on the outter edges of the marshes. where the soil is saturated with moisture, or for that fact just moist in general. the plants will be grown for just over 2 months in my personal control, making me think that if i can plant very healthy plants in my good soil with fish underneath the soil for about a week to allow decomposition in moist dirt will be able to with stand a growing season with out the proper care you would normally give them? i just dont want to go and visit the spot if ever because it is a public place for that matter. but if no one thinks or has an idea on how to do it like that let me know need help asapppppppppp..

If the soil stays wet consistently..... they will die. Raised beds or containers for swampy areas.

Luke .... use the Palmettos Luke. (makes Jedi gesture)
