Purple Erkle 8 CFL's. When to harvest?

Its been 5-6 weeks since I flowered it. Will the buds get bigger? When should I harvest? 1st Time grower...:? lol would appreciate some help! Thanks




4x Soft White CFL 2700k 100watts (23 actual watts)
1x Daylight CFL 6500k 100watts (23 actual watts)
3x Soft White CFL 2700k 75watts (20 actual watts)

= 175 Watts

yes the buds will get much bigger. none of the hairs on your plant have changed from white so its no where near ready to harvest. wait for amost 85% of the hairs to turn orange, and the buds to swell, they will look like they have seed in them. id say you have no less than 3 weeks still.

id say your got at least 3 weeks left! and yes the buds will build alot of their strength and deinsity within the last 2-3 weeks, stick it under the micrscope and hav a look at the trichomes

btw the problem with the pistols turning orage is that is isnt a clear or exact indication of the best time to chop, invest a little bit more time n money into ur lovely bud and chop at the best possible time.

@OutDaCloset Yup that one is from a clone... I also got 5x Cashmere x Soma Lavender females from seeds and 1x Purple Kush x Chemdog Sour Diesel :)

sounds like some crazy strains. i dont buy seeds at all, i just save seeds from good bags i get and plant them. that plant in my album is unknown bagseed from som med grade.

Looks good dude, your buds will get a lot bigger in a few weeks time. It's crazy how fast they grow. Do you have a scope? You should check the trichs under like 30x magnification for a really good indication of when to harvest.

@pbbro Thanks bro! I will keep my eyes on them :) Nope I dont have a scope yet.... But im planning on buying some from Radioshack.. the 60x mag one!

So....... I accidently broke 1 of my CFL's that I barely boughttt :evil: but thats fine...

Now I have....

6x Soft White CFL 2700k 100w (23 actual watts)
1x Daylight CFL 6500k 100w (23 actual watts)
3x Soft White CFL 2700k 75w (20 actual watts)

= 221 actual watts

1/2 Miracle Grow Potting Soil & 1/2 Earth Gro
Alaska Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1
Alaska Morbloom 0-10-10
Schultz Plant Food Plus 10-15-10
Cutting Edge Solutions Micro 6-0-0
