Is AN garbage? From personal experience?I want to try it for my next grow but there is too much conflicting reports but a lot of ppl say its great?Someone who uses it please chime in.I use biobizz and canna with great results so far but trying diffrent nutes is part of learning, its £12 a litre for grow, bloom and some other stuff on fleabay, the voodoo juice is really expensive tho,can you get decent results with just the veg and flower nutes and maybe a booster or is it designed so you have to buy all of the range?

Ah, someone asks a question about Advanced Nutrients and people decide to start whining.

Folks, that isn't what the guy is asking for. He's asking for advice on how to use what he's already bought.

So, let's give him some advice - not personal opinions.

According to Advanced Nutrients themselves:

Sensi Pro takes the guesswork out of growing. Just empty the contents of the appropriate week’s box into 100 liters of water, agitate the water, then feed Sensi Pro to your crops. Our engineered formula self balances between pH 5.5-6.5, which is ideal for most crops.

Sensi Pro comes in several ppm strengths so you can tailor nutrient potency to precisely fit your crop’s needs. Growers can choose from the following regimens: Light Feeding - 1200 ppm peak; Moderately Light Feeding - 1400 ppm peak; Medium Feeding - 1600 ppm peak; Moderately Heavy Feeding - 1800 ppm peak; Heavy Feeding - 2000 ppm peak.

Sensi Pro’s unique blend of Beneficial Bacteria, Beneficial Fungi, Hormones, Amino Acids, Enzymes, Vitamins, Yeast Extracts, Carbohydrates, Organic Plant Extracts and other organic ingredients will make a noticeable difference in your garden, or your money back.

To me, this sounds pretty easy and pretty good. I haven't use this yet, but I think I might be trying it in the future.

Gotta use up what I got, you know?

To the person who started the thread - try it out, see how it works for you, and then you can decide whether it's for you. Everyone has a different experience based on their growing techniques and their special nute recipes.

And I wouldn't trust anyone who says that ALL of a brand is crap. Everyone makes a product or two that doesn't work well for them - again, everyone's different.

Don't listen to those who are being AN criticizers. If you were to ask a question about GH, you'd hear the same thing, I'm sure.

Best to ignore opinions and list to REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE.

Your not going to get a whole lot of useful info on AN here.. too many biased haters who are in love with their nutes that were developed back in the 70's...

Not sure I want a 1 post guy agreeing with me... Mike.. :|

If you wanna save some money, Botanicare is virtually replacing AN now for half the price.. I'm in the process of switching over.

Pure Blend Pro > Iguana
Sweet replaces Bud Candy
Hydroplex replaces Big Bud
CNS17 Ripe replaces Overdrive
Clearex replaces Final Phase
Silica Blast replaces Rhino Skin
Aquashield replaces Voodoo Juice

Throw in some GH Subculture M & B, and some fox farm open sesame and you just replaced the whole AN line for half the price

all AN does is buy nutes from other manufacturers, re-label them and mark them up...

Sensi a+b
Bud Blood (1st week only)
BUd Candy
Big BUd
Rhino
BUdswell <--- NON AN product using 15 ml per gal
I will be finnishing up with overdrive adn Final phase

I am 13 days into flower 1st pics are the super lemon haze. the last pic is of Big buddah Cheese.

Soil grow ( Fox Farms Ocena Forrest )

All Clone Grow
5 Green House seeds Super Lemon haze (veged 8 weeks under CFL)
2 Big Buddah Cheese (vegged 8 weeks under CFL)
6 Super Silver HAze (veged 1 week from clone)

Ya I know there are alot of AN haters out there but I have not seen this size bud development on these genes before. I have not finnished the run yet but as of 13 dys in the look good. Lots of crystals already and the buds are as big as my thumb (almost) With these being an 11 week flower the bud size are not usualy this big until late week 3 early week 4. And the Crystal production looks real good thus far.

Not exactly. I actually use humboldt nutrients which are actually more recent than Advanced Nutrients (founded in 1999). And not biased just most of us fail to recognize how awesome the high times magazines make them out to be. No criticizm intended but come on man they offer a product called "kushie kush". If thats not a marketing strategy for cannabis cultivators then what is?
what?

I am struggling to find any logic in that statement whatsoever.

Can someone help me? The guy is growing cannabis, right?
No man. We're growing tulips here. Sorry you've been misunderstood.

"If thats not a marketing strategy for cannabis cultivators then what is?"

What's the bad part here?

A product designed for a specific purpose is being marketed as being designed for the same specific purpose. That sounds like truth in advertising to me.

Products being tailored for the job I buy them for doesn't bother me a bit.

And as for the "zomg what if someone sees me buying something for mj" thing... that's SO not a concern.

If the LEO's are watching you enough that they can see what nutes you buy you're way past the point where buying one thing or the other is going to throw them off the trail. It's not like Joe Cop is gonna be like "we think this guy might be growing cannabis", see you buy Miracle Grow or some crap, and then decide he was wrong.

And they need a lot more than a receipt for Advanced Nutrients to get a warrant.
