as you can tell im new to this forum. im going to get my easy ryder growing in something very similar to a pc grow box. same size but made of wood. the smell is going to be a problem. for only one plant, what would be good to use to keep the smell away?

ive grown on a very small cab with 2 plants in it yielded about 3/4 of an ounce. I used just odour gel and air freshener near the cabinet and it masked my smell fine. But i had my odour being literally "blown" onto the wall where the plug was with the smelly thing so it got elimenated. if i took the smelly thing out the wall it would stink.

Peace

i can buy a carbon filter, money is not that tight, what i was thinking was this =====>pcgrow box======>fan======> carbon filter =====> in my house

if i get an inline fan, could the air from that be enough for ventilation? but its not in a pc case, its similar in size. made from wood, or like a rubermaid container idk yet.

It would ventilate...but it would still smell. Sounds like you should get the basics down of what your doing first, the plant wont start to smell for a few weeks, just make a small box, build 2 pc fans in the sides,(one at bottom and one at the top) the bottom is used as an oscilating fan and the one on top can be directed to a carbon filter. ( the DIY carbon filters actually work very well)

hope this helped.
