Advise PLZ before I buy this light

Greetings one and all,

Have a 2x4x7 tent and was wondering could I get away with one of those biasc wing reflectors with decent intake/exhaust fans and not have any heat issues? Or do I go air-cooled? Ideally, what is the ratio of pots to that size tent? Thanks everyone..........

For your tent you dont want anything bigger than a 400HPS. I f you can afford the extra cash, than you should definitely get the air-cooled shrouded hood. i have one for my 430 Son Agro, and rarely have temp issues.

Good luck.

How hot is your ambient room the tent will be in? I think a 400W would work well in that space and I dont think you'd need a air-cooled hood, If you wanted to get a 600W I would look at air-cooled shade..

I would look at doing a SOG (Sea of green) around 16-32 (depending on light choice) small plants, From clone - veg for about 10 days then flower..

I prefer a 600 and have 2 in a 7ft tall by 8 wide by 6.5 long tent. I have 2 air cooled hoods sucking through a carbon filter pushing out 30 ft of duct to the roof. My fan moves 400 cfm and I have it on half speed.

The best thing about the new 600 is they are dimmable, 360, 400, 600 and super output. Byu one light and never have to re-invest again. I've spent THOUSANDS over the years, the 600 is perfect for me, well 3.
