What is the best way for a cooltube to be setup in a small cupboard grow?

Should it be...

fan pulling air out the growroom>ducting>cooltube>ducting>carbon filter

Is it better to pull the air through the cooltube in this manner or to push it through and carbon filter it at the other side?

I prefer to suck because it doesn't add presure to my vent hose. If it did it would kind of twist the reflectors. Now when I have it on the mover I have to suck or the pressure in the vent will push it all over.

You want fan--ducting(little bit)--filter--ducting--cooltube

It's easier to pull air than to push it.

Yep, pulling the air is the way to go. Put the filter on one end, the fan on the other, your ducting/reflectors inbetween, and you'll be good to go.

Ok thanks guys... ive heard that keeping everything as straight as possible is best as well for it to work properly... the problem is that that becomes extremely difficult in a small area... will probably be much easier when i buy a big tent -

im planning on 4 x 600w in cooltubes in a tent roughly 240cm x 240cm x 200m

i was planning on 2 lines of ducting with 2 x 600watters on each

just out of interest - i have 2 x 5" rvk fans at the moment that move 350m3/hr - would that be enough to cool each line?

I use a 6 inch that pulls 400 cfm(cubic feet per minute). I only run on half speed to cool.

I just did the math, and your room is about 11 m3, and those fans move about 12 m3/minute each, so they will be plenty to exchange the air every minute, which is the rule of thumb. Plus, taking into consideration the losses from pulling air through the filters, the reflectors, reducers, and ducting, it should work out about perfect.

Right now just 2 600 HPS through a carbon filter. Here is some pics from when I built the room and some recent ones. The inside of the tent measures 8ft X 6.5ft with a 7 ft ceiling.

Oh they're good, 70-75 with an RH between 45-58%.

Just checked on the girls this morning and the temp is a constant 24C thanks to my sms com twin fan controller and the cooltube

humidity is a bit high at 60%

is there any way to get this down in a cupboard grow without a dehumidifier?

i have 2 x 300w red spectrum cfls but they do put out a lot of heat so im debating whether to add them or not

update:

the temps are creeping up to about 80F after about 8 hours of hid lighting, im guessing this is normal as the day goes on?
