Where to buy some good CFL lightings in Australia?

Besides from hydro shops or online. If there isn't a way to get a good CFL lighting then dw i go online or the hydro shop for it.

Confuse where to buy the light sockets from to plug the light bulbs into. I found a socket outside, with a 23W CFL. I don't mind getting more of them. But where to get them. The socket is a BC Bayonet clip. Can i hook up bigger CFL in it? My mate has some bulbs bigger than 23W and i remember they were 6400K

Yea mate i got my shit at bunnings... its pretty expensive though (i only went there for convenience as im lazy). They got AUD$28 Nelson 48watt CFL (biggest they have) and they also have a AUD$19 42watt spiral cfl (cant remember what brand)...they're your're best bet I reckon. but also have like packs of 3 20w CFLs or watever for like $13.

Is this $28 one the long tubes. Or the spirals one? Thank for the helpful reply. Appreciate it.

Hmm T5. Well i got a CFL ballast like them Alot of them in my shed. Are you fking serious. You took it out and they had no clue about it HAHAHAHA. What a funny guy you are or girl. Well the CFL i got is long like as i said but i think it doesn't higher wattage are meant for it. Or can i hook up more stronger tubes for it? I'll upload the light I've for you to check them out.

The setup im doing is going to be small so i can't use them. Plus im only growing for the fun of it and on the low low you know. Nice set up btw.

Oh my bad, think its the cannabis affecting my brain.
Well talking about the T5s light. I think i got a bundle of them inside my shed. The light ballast (CFL) Its long like yours aswell.

Although I don't think I can use them anyways due to the size of them. I'll probably go bunnings today and find some spirals CFL bulbs and bayonet adapters.

I got this lamp that i've found in my backyard shed. Specs: B22 Clip 60W Max 50Hz 240V.
The question is that most likely means im able to plug in a B22 60W CFL right? Or is it 60W Max on a indescent light bulb? I've tried it with a 23W bulb and it works. Is it safe to place a 60W in it, it even has a reflector surround the bulb.

hey mate in relation tour your numbers here ya go
6400K is the sprectrum and that is what you want for veg'n 2700K for flowering
all australian power is rated at 240 Volts and it is alternating current (AC)...DC=batteries!
this comes out of the wall socket at 50-50 times a second this is mesured in Hertz ....H
these numbers you dont worry about only the watts, if you run heaps then you have to watch your drawing current on your breakers, most lines are 10A, but once again you dont need to worry about that.
I would go with the 3 pack of 23W and get some sockets for them, you can just use an old desk lamp set up. take everything off so you've just got the cord and socket bit no need for the lamp part, screw in or bayonet type is fine (screw ins are better, you can knock the bayonet ones i founds)
i'd personally do what streetlegal did, i fuck over Bunnings all the time ahahahahaha

Hope this helps, Aussie growers unite...im from Melb's
