This is my flower room with a 4ft T5 and 3 42w CFL's Left to right Strawberry Cough, Strawberry Cough, Northern Lights, Strawberry Cough. This was taken right before a watering.

Ok so I have a crow cab now full of plants that is 2x5x5. Since finding RIU I have found that I am becoming more and more interested in micro grows and 12/12 from seed grows. Well I decided that after the current set of plants in my cab is done I am going to dismantle it and start to grow in the cab I am constructing now. I think it will be very enjoyable to try to get as much yield and quality as I can from such a small cab. Here is where I am at with the build:

I have a fairly large computer desk (pictured) with 3 drawers and a cabinet that I have decided to turn into my new grow cab. The inside of the cab measures 19"x25" and is 26" tall at the shortest point giving me a total of 3.4 sf of grow space. So far I have removed the drawer fronts and door and fused them all together from the inside with a piece of luan. This will be my door but it will retain the original appearance. For lighting I have decided to go with 2 68 watt cfls (Home Depot $15) which will give me 40 watts per square foot. As you can see from the picture I just used simple light fixtures wired together. I will be using 2 computer fans for intake and exhaust and a homemade carbon filter. I will also be installing plexi glass under the lights to make it easier to control plant temp. I have enclosed pictures of progress thus far. I will be lining the cab with tin foil for reflection.
I figure I will be able to grow 4 plants at a time with this setup but due to the fact that I am trying tosmoke for free and what I grow needs to last through the next grow I will most scrog 2 plants at a time using the best strains from the best banks to increase yield.
I will keep you all updated on the progress. I am hoping to get a few Big Bang sedlings in there by Monday.

My Lemon skunk, auto fem, just a few days old. Planted some hash plant seeds the other day they broke surface this morning. Pics of my grow box's (yes plural) will be up soon, i think you guys will like em.

Ok so I got my desk box done tonight for the most part. I still have a small light leak issue and I will need to play around until I get temps right. I just checked and its 84.6 right now so thats good.
Anyway I wanted to put it right to work so I had 5 GHS Big Bang fems that were planted about 10 days ago vegging in my bigger box and when I got the seeds my intention was to SCROG them. Well now I am gonna. I am gonna do a micro SCROG in my desk. They arein the box and I am actually hand cutting a 2x2 mesh SCROG screen out of window screen. Its alot of work but the girls will get 20% more light through the screen verses usin plastic screen. I am sooo stoked about this grow. I have some pics for you guys. I am still cutting the screen so it is not in the pictures but I will finish it and install it tomorrow and then I will post a pic. Ok so lets recap. 5 Big Bang fems getting scrogged in a 19x26 (3.4 sf) under 2 68w CFL's with a 2 liter yeast bottle for co2 outside the cab with tubing direct to the tops of the plants. And dont forget the sickest fucking SCROG screen you have ever seen. MICRO SCROG BABY!!!!!

Hey folks, .. and welcome dufus.

So here it is.. my alarm clock grow. In this crazy-ass pile of shrubbery, there are 10 Lowryder#2's (regular), 5 Mi5 (feminized)and 3 afghan Kush Ryders (Feminized).

These plants are 28 days old from germination.

I call it my alarm clock grow, because at 0600 each morning, a 500 CFM fan starts blowing cold air up me and my wife's asses, and the 400W HPS kicks on by our faces.... The things we do for Love! LoL

3 gal growbags, FFOF soil, Guano-kelp-molasses aerated tea for chow always with a pinch of epsom salts.. Ph kept around 6.3

No measurements of PPM's yet, but on my next grow I will, so that I can more closely monitor my Organic-salts in/out.


So .. without further bs, Ladies and dufuses, the Alarmclock grow.

Gettin' a little funk in the room. I dig it.

Getting on ur thread alittle late but I luv read alot of things on here so far and as sorta a beginner at grow outdoors and indoors especially in the downstate ny it's hard to grow but really like the post u put up n good luck with ur plants looks really good

Hey Bigv isn't 84.6 a little too hot? I have heard that 78 is the "perfect", if such a temperature exists, in a book by Jorge Cervantes. The longer hours of light and also higher temperature the more likely your plants will be males.

Yes a bit warm but I am loading it up with co2 so the temp can run a bit warmer. Rep+ for the observant catch. I will have an update on the 6 week olds and the Big Bang tomorrow.
