sooo me and my girlfriend got a bunch of bagseeds germinated them and they finally cracked, we both dont got money and are still young so space is limited, but ive read up alot and realized that cfl is the way to go for mee.. can anyone recommend a good setup to get a decent yield, extremely cheap, and simple to set up and maintain for a beginner,

Really depends mate. Does it need to be stealth? You say you have a "bunch" of seeds...so how many plants do you want? Where are you going to grow?

Ideally you want to GET AS MANY AS YOU CAN AFFORD. I mean, i've seen people grow 1 plant entirely under only a couple of cfl's, and yea they got bud but it wasnt great, small, and the plant will prolly be stretchy. I got 1 plant now under 5 cfls totaling 128watt...even i could go more.

go to walmart buy a buncha lamp cordsets theyre like 5 dollars apiece get atleast 3. get 3 2700k cfls and go 12/12 light schedule from seed. build a small box around the plant w either white paper or some reflective material on the walls and youre set. cheap and efficient just like mine!!!! come check it out sometime!

thanks for the inputtt , im lookin for a stealthy single plant for the cheapest price, considering lighting fixtures, soil, etc.. id love for someone to just list everything i need in their opionion so i could use it as an example for my first grow, and cretique things i think i could do better next time arounndd you feel mee

First make sure the room is clean and whited out, then get a fan, powerstrip<used for comps, get 23watt DAYLIGHT CFL FOR VEG, bulb adapters with plugs on them 2 y-adapters and 2 singles. use a thick gauge, short extension cord to plug in lights and fan. get a 3 way split for that.

This will give you 6, 23 watt cfl on one strip. Also 17light/7dark gives u higher rate of females and 17 is the most hours of light a plant can consume or so ive read. we all gotta sleep sometimes, right?

I get 1-2 oz per plant. these are all moms. I don't use cfl's for flower. I run 24hr light on everything I grow. I have lots of pics from bag seed grows also. I also don't think dark time is bad. I just don't like timers and have seen no reason to to change. I have looked at the root balls at about a month "Males" and after harvest. I have never seen anything but massive root growth.

In the summer we get more hours of light 18/6 or 17/7 and thelight is a bluer color, as the plants vegetate the months pass and less light occurs 12/12 and the light is a redder color. 17/7 with daylight cfl for a month then 12/12 warm light cfl to trigger flower and flower for a couple months. seedlings started at 12/12 have lower yields because they are kind a not being allowed to veg and want to flower>there is a plus to 12/12 the plant show sex sooner but lower yield.

Home lamp style CFLs will work, but if it is all possible, set a few bucks aside each week or month. In no time you will have a few extra bucks to purchace a CFL Grow light. They have a nice 42watt/150watt, 6500k & 2700k, CFL grow light for $20 bucks or so. A few years back I was in the same situation and kept 3 plants going for a few months on incandescent grow bulbs. At that point because the lact of knowledge on indoor growing, it did not turn out well. But about a year ago, after the state I live in voted down the legalization for medical marijuana, I started to put a buck here and there away, then March of this year I researched my ass off and set my growroom up, using CFLs. My thoughts are and I have found that: If you go cheap, you get cheap. Does not every man learn that lesson when dating, buying a car, motorcycle, home, food and guess what, here is where it really applies, when buying GONJA

alrighttt thanks for all suggestions.. i was thinking of planting them running to wallmart getting a timer, surge protecter, and get 4-6 27w's (mix of 2700k&6500k) on Y adapters for the veggg then add on a 42w or 2 for flowering .. i was gunna set up a cardboard box place the lights on the top like 2 inches from the plant sitting inside it with white paint or white comp. paper for reflection and a small fan blowing .. . does anyone agree w. this setup and have any suggestions on lighting or any shiiiiiiii liek that
