Perlite IS AND CAN BE a media, haven't you ever tired the HEMPY method.
If not do your researse before your so quick to answer.

First of all the question what do I need? is so vague, it depends what you want. Sounds to me like your in over your head with the medium/watering thing you have going... As you sound like a beginner you should have started with a good soil mix or soilless mix in pots, not perlite and reservoirs. No offence at all btw. At the beginning of your thread you mentioned twice that it was one hindu skunk plant, well just a few posts ago you referred to your plant"s" plural form, just curious. Also you can take that little data chip out of your digital camera, it plugs into your comp for quick uploads, that's what I did, I lost my cord too lol. Post some pics and people will have 10 times a better idea of how to help...if you want it or "them" to live right?

my rockwool cube has alot of green shit on it i think its algae
if it is is that bad? should i move the rockwool to my soil not that thats happening?

You can get the white covers that go over the RW, but even if you don't it won't hurt. It just looks ugly and i believe it can eat up some nutes, other then that no problems imo.
I start with half nutes and water only a few times a week until the roots come out the RW, also did you treat the RW, soak in a 5.0-5.5 ph water for 24hrs? Oh the pargro from what i just recently discovered drains alot better then the regular Grodan RW. So it's all about finding that sweet spot, i failed many grows trying to many different methods. What is your PH? What is ppm?
