help and advise needed

Hi, new to this game so need a good head start reading thru forum stuff, its confused me etc so got a few questions etc

the links below is what im buying to hopefully get me own stuff etc, as fed up with buying crap smoke

1. how many plants can i grow in this set up ??

2. is it possable to have a turn-around of smoke with this tent, ie so i dont have to buy it ever again,

3. if yes to question 2, how i go about it ??

i will proberly have many more questions as the days go by,

If you are new to growing I might try to start in soil first as it seems to be an easier place to start. As far as the grow tent goes it looks real good. I'm not familiar with hydro so i can't give you advice on that setup. Like I said IMO i think soil would be a better starting point.

I have grown before in soil but out side, but now days cant do that so moving to the loft etc, plus uk weather not the best, so done a bit of reading etc, and seems hydro seems the best bet for me etc

plus the last time i grew it was 10 year back , so im after any advise etc as i have never grown stuff in a tent before

Oh I see. Well the tent looks good and you could have a constant turn around as you say if you just keep cloning your plants. But like I said the tent looks good. What kind of light you thinking of using?

Ah I see, a lot of people usually go with metal halide for veg and then hps for flower because of the different spectrums. But if you only have money for one I saw stick with that 600 hps!

Hey pal. The hydro system look's good, i have never use one as im on my first grow. Pic's below....

If you haven't considered growing in coco already then it is a fantastic medium to grow in. real easy to use nute's with and has magical qualities to it. i.e holds water and air very very well. it has tritchodima in with it already which fight's of bacteria and insect's. also preventing mold in the root system. Take a look at my hole thread from start it explains a good bit about this medium.... you wont go wrong with using this. Do a little research on COCO pro and CANNA product line...

vetec, having looked into it more, im building me self, a separate vegie room , so im open for advise from any one, as to what type of bulb to use etc, was going to use me vegie room for me mothers, and clones, so any advise on lights to use to get the best of what we all want would much be welcomed etc

Dan, i looked thru your thread yesterday, and youe batch is cracking along m8, as for the route you have gone, me personly im sticking to hydro,
being a pest controller i want to cut all the odds down even further than using soil side of things as, this is one of the biggest problems ( of many ) pest i see using the soil option, i treat a nusery for pest controll and chatting to the fellas thier and what i no of pest control thats why im hydroing the whole thing,
as for your pests you had, before you started your room if you had of sprayed it all with vicam w, before you had set up then done your plastic covering etc, then any bugs that had taken up residance and gone under the plastic layer the vicam would of got them, viam w is a powder that is put in water that is ideal for all types of surfaces that absorb water etc, ie carpets wood concrete,

also you can use in your room on all surfaces "insectaban" this is a chemical that you can apply to all surfaces ( except plants etc ) with a cloth , this incetacide drys and leaves a layer so any type of insects that cross over it, pick up the insectacide, then bingo,

if you have a problem with gnats etc put a uv light in this will attract many types of insects etc, the ideal height for this is about 6 ft,

Well if you're going with two seperate rooms go with a metal halide light in the veg room and then put and hps in your flower room. Its really up to you and what you can afford when it comes to the size of the lights (watts).

I use a 8bulb T-5 4' with the 93watters and I have better veg than I did with 1000w MH and use about 1/3 of the energy and don't have any heat issues.93 times 8 equals 744 watts of light and you can run this light 6" from the canopy.
