I'm about to attempt my first grow and I am just waiting for my seeds in the mail. In my grow room the temp at night gets as low as 50 deg. Fahrenheit and with my 250 watt hps running for 18 hours it gets up to 85 degrees. I am wondering if this temperature range is alright to start out some lowryders and grow them to bud?

50 is a bit low and could cause some stunted growth, but won't kill em

85 is ok for veg, a bit high for flowering

if you can you should figure out a way to adjust it

he's right, once you hit flowering, try figuring out a way to lower those temps. to about 75 F...and probably a heating element like a heating mat at night to keep it nice and warm

Thanks guys. I have a few more questions hopefully you have answers. I will be using a 400 watt hps and I am wondering how many lowryders I will be able to grow under this light. I am getting 15 seeds and the ones that I won't have space for under my hps I will be growing outdoors. Also what kind of soil and nutrients would you recommend. I live in Ohio btw.

they make heaters that keep the room around 75 all day or u can adjust it.
and get a few fans on timers for the dayshift
