We let our son stay at his grandmas house friday night and I asked him what he had to eat on saturday and he said chips for breakfast and beef jerky for lunch. We called her up like WTF!

Yea I know what I'm in for in that kind of situation. Do y'all like beef stoganoff with portabella mushrooms in it and shit? I make it with sirloin and that is shit good as hell. I think that is whats for dinner tonight.

tiger shrimp? what, so a prawn? :lol: as i'm aware shrimp is pretty much just small prawns.

just thrown together a parma ham, buffallo mozarella, rocket, tomato, olive oil, salt and pepper, all on some freshly baked french stick :) and a plum! :)

tiger shrimp one of my favorite a little tougher than the typical gulf shrimp we get ,but makes up for it with flavor ,its more like lobster very rich

I love port mushrooms.... I usually just soak them in some .... guess what.... garlic oil :lol: !! Then I just throw them on the BBQ and roast them...very good. Melt some mozzy or muenster cheese (so the mushroom flavor comes through)...and slip it into some pita bread with tomatoes and cucumbers....

Oh shit yea I've had porto burgers like that befofe but pita is a much better idea than any kind of bun. My friends mom is Lebanese and she used to make this garlic sauce and put it on lamb in pita and it was some of the best food I ever had!

  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 500g rump steak, cut across the grain into thin strips
  • 1 medium brown onion, cut into thin wedges
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 300g mushroom flats, sliced
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 1 250g carton sour light cream
  • 2 tbs tomato paste
  • 125mls (1/2 cup) beef stock
  • 2 tbs finely chopped fresh continental parsley
  • 400g dried fettuccine pasta
