i can confirm that Dan is on his first grow. we are friends who both started our grows around the same time.

Dan has planned this for 6months before attempting to grow and believe me has had his fair share of problems. Due to me being 3weeks ahead on my first grow i was able to help him not make the mistakes i did.

Now everyone likes getting praise and constructive criticism but to come on RIU and start calling someone a liar because their first grow is going so well is pathetic ..

As Dan has said research is the key to a successful grow and Dan has done more than his fair share. to call him a pro and a liar i think is just you being jealous of him having such a successful grow ,..

yes it is a great grow . all im saying is why all the use of the nutes when the cuttings were so young . seems to of used a full growths worth in just a matter of days looking at the amount of nutes left in the BOTTLES . By the way im not jelous at all , im inpressed by far , Im just making a point , You say you saved all your pennies , so have you been giving your nutes to the daffodils outside .

Dan has 24 plants growing in COCO. Have you ever grown in this medium???? It is doubtfull that you have. With COCO you have to create runoff almost like flushing every single time you water.
This alone can use alot of nutes. including the fact that when Dan does have to flush his plants he has to do it with 120Litres to each pot.

Can you grasp how much nutrient there is in this kind of amount of water??? Canna uses approx 20ml per gallon and a gallon is 4.55Litres you work out how much he is using. As coco is a hydro medium you can also choose to feed every single time you water.

Do bare in mind that Dan did not post on this forum as soon he started his grow. It was a couple of weeks after.
But probably didnt take the pic of his nutes until people wanted to see them.

Dan is also following the CANNA GROWING GUIDE rigerously and does not deviate from that recipe which is why he is having such a successfull first grow.

lay off the guy and just be impressed and congratulate him on such a successfull first grow.

Hi everyone!

Update..... Its day 36 flower, I gave the Lady's a small shot of nitrogen as some were looking pale. And i also only watered PH6 water ( no nutes ) for the last feed to help with the problem's Im having.

I have some CANNA magnesium and CANNA calcium supplement's coming tomorrow which i'll add to the next feed.... ( next feed will be at half strength ). And this should do the trick to rectify the problem of a few burnt leaves and the eagle claw. ( hopefully ).....

Despite the problem's the lady's are now packing on weight. They look to have grown about 1 inch over the weekend but the growth is slowing, but the bud's have definately filled out some. ( pic's below).

Also I have installed the last of the supplement CFL lighting as can be seen in the pic's. And i have put up another Humidity tester and min/max temp reader....

Any comment's welcomed!!!!!
