Here's a tip, when u transplant into the holes trim the roots around the sides after you pull off the grow bag then add super thrive to the water for it's first watering after being transplanted. It will prevent the shock of transplanting. I love useing super thrive threw out the grow but alot of people don't. It works for me

Yeah kinda pointless with autos, Or autos kinda pointless, both work.

Waldo Just put your hand over the top of the pot with the stem in between your pointer and middle finger so u can flip the plant over up side down and pull the pot (bag) off the root ball the get a knife or garden spade and scrape the sides of the soil and roots all the way around even on the bottom (which is now faceing up) then squeeze the root ball some to ruff it up a little and loosen it up a little this will promote rapid root growth. It's general gardening knowledge look it up on the web, I'm not sabatoging you homie.

I first started growing in 7th grade gurilla style with one plant. from there I took all the horticulture and agg. Classes I culd get into at the time. I was a chapter president of future farmers of America thinking that one day I wuld be living as a mountain man growing herb all my life. It was my goal, my dream!! Then I got my girl pregnet and reality hit. lmao so anyways I know how to grow more then just weed, unlike alot on here. I love seeing peoples plants in there flower/veg gardens looking all natural like they belonge. Sorry for the ramble. All stoned

It's not so much of a trim but I don't know what to call it. You can trim roots by using a bread knife and sawing a 1/4 around the outside of the root ball when it becomes rootbound. You do it to mothers every 6-9 months to keep them producing healthy growth.

This is done when you intend to put the plants back into the pots they came out of, and it shocks the plant for a while. He is planting them in the ground, in 3x3x3 holes. Do you think they will be rootbound in those holes? Why cause the plants to stress out by cutting roots which slows growth for a while.

Just finished reading your grow journal I will learn from your mistakes and improve where I see fit . Question... If your legal why not buy clones from dispensaries? Just a random thought keep up the good work. just a random tip I download a lot of books and movies about growing using torrents. Now my questions about growing are more together so to speak. You can always learn just have to be willing to be taught.

over here in the bay the dispensaries usually only have kush strains and i plan on providing the dispensaries with different strains so that why i started from seed to get something different from what they have and with some of the strains i have i know i'll be able to get ride of it quick. im just hoping ill get ride of it before November their tryin to legalize it in cali and if that happens all prices will drop substantially.

The more soil you loosen the better. It makes it easier for the roots to spread out and grow. A lot of fucking work, but it should be worth the effort.

jesus those holes are hudge you sure you they gotta be that big
everyone told me to dig 3x3x3 holes and i takes me about 20 min to dig it the part that takes long is having to break up the coco brick and amending the soil then tryin to mix it up evenly
