To be honest, Im a bit upset with myself now, The Big Devil is in kind of a bad spot, it gets direct sunlight, but not as early in the day as I thought. So it is going to be stunted by lack of light, I can already see the difference in growth between the two. Fast Bud is in a 2.5 gallon pot now, and I can move it to the light so it gets it maybe 10 or more hours of direct sunlight. Is that the DinaFem auto grapefruit? Looks like its doing very well, its growing considerably faster than the others. My fast bud smells like a grapefruit, and some good ass weed had a baby. The Big Devil has a skunky smell, with a hint of some kind of fruit behind it. So Im not expecting an ounce or more from the big devil, like I would be if it was in full sunlight, and grown later in the year. To be honest I dont know what to expect from it now, it certainly wont grow to its full potential where it is.:wall:
I feel your pain bro. The hardest thing about outdoors/guerilla growing is finding lots of direct sunlight while still trying to be stealthy. I wish I could fuckin' grow at the top of a tree.

As far as the Grapefruit, it is not an auto, I kinda wish it was. Good luck with your grow! :leaf:

I'm currently growing Lowlife's Auto-blueberry and EasyRyder and Barney's Farm Power Flower. Hopefully they turn out great. I never thought about these for a guerrilla grow....that would be sweet!

I will most likely do and auto GG. But i'm here to ask why i am on day 62 of flowering and it is getting new pistils ery day and does not seem to be near the end except for i read that near maturity groth will be a bit twisted at the top and there is that going on but yeah, info appreciated.

Some auto's have less auto in them than others and so they take longer to finish. What strain is doing it?

No camera, i could get some on here tommorrow though, also i will check the trichs since people say thats the way to go instead of hairs.

If it was bagseed, your just lucky for it to be an auto, i wouldnt be complaining about finish time. Plus 65 days is on the low end of autos, some take up to 75 days, and like Nick Nasty said, just in other words, if the plant leans more to the ruderallis, than it will flower faster, more to whatever it was crossed with, then it will take a bit longer. So maybe you still have 2 weeks or so left.

Oh yeah and definitely go by the trichs, the hairs are a good sign of when it is starting to end its life cycle and finish up, but cant tell you when exactly to harvest like the trichomes can. You might have all brown, or red, or orange, or whatever color hair that are dried up, on the whole plant, but The heads on the trichs might still be just milky white. A lot of the time, even when finished, a plant will have some new growth at the very tips. But if it is like that all over the bud then you still have a good bit of time left.

Shit, my lowlife AK's are still not growing. :( I've been blasting them with 6-7 hours of strong direct sun, then giving them CFL's throughout the night. They are getting 24/0, but the non-autos that I started at the same time are still blowing them away.

From memory, the Nirvana Short Riders were more aggressive.

Hey guys, just wanted to toss a few more pictures up. Here is my little closet DWC grow Day 46 from seed, ~4 weeks into Flower. 1 Sweet Seeds Fast Bud and one Paki/Ryder. The Fast Bud has taken up most of the space but the Paki is still in there (the darker leaves on the top of the picture are the Paki)..

Here's a picture of the root balls...

Hey Topo, I'm growing some Easyryder's outdoors. I'm in SoCal and the temps have been uncommonly cold for this time of the year. I believe that has caused my plants to be smaller. Also, they took much longer to flower than last years auto grow - which was started in August. Not sure where you're located, but something to consider if you have low outdoor temps.

Hey thanks Pablo, I want to disclose my location, but I am too paranoid. I'm in the southeast, which encompasses FL, GA, TN, AL, NC, SC...etc. The daily sun has been warm and strong in the last several weeks, so that made me more frustrated that my AK's are too stunted. And like in the pics, I started some normal seeds (feminized) that are exploding with growth using the same soil, nutrients, light period, etc.

I can only hope the auto AK's start to accelerate real soon, otherwise, this won't be worth the effort. Wishes of warm sunny days to you! :) :leaf:

I'm finished with autos for a while, we harvested anywhere from 10 to 34 grams per plant, it was fun, but I'm not seeing it as a viable option for a medical grower without space restrictions.

I can see why. Autos have a great appeal in that they will flower and finish early. But if the yields are too small, it's not worth the time and money. If they can somehow hit a happy medium with bigger yields, early finishes, and comparable potency, it will be off the charts.
