Growing in vacant lots...

Do you guys grow on your property? If you don't have 20+ secluded acres, how do you find a spot to plant? Just curious because I know of spots but would never dare to grow...

Stick with indoor if you dont have a secluded place to grow. I live on 4 acres and could probably get away with it, but I feel that indoors is much less risky.

yeah, growing outdoors is much more risky and also, the plants yield alot less than if growing under controlled conditions indoors

I've been giving this some thought too orange.

The spot must be:
reasonably hard to access
be in a little travelled section of land
Have cover from possible passers by
have enough light and space

It has to be covered...and well lit. That is the conundrum.

i think growing outside is so much riskier with less quality in your yield. is there an advantage to growing outside? it seems like there is none except that the smell would dissipate quicker

Odor isn't a problem. I have top of the line solutions to that. I suppose the electricity bill is the real reason. Also, the quantity could be much greater with enough space.

Outdoors is harder and tricky but yields are much larger whne done correctly then if growing inside due to the sunlights power and the size of the plants and the roots.Backyardchem just got a little confused I think. Inside is more discrete and easier to control and more growing time

Growing outside is a bit more difficult to get caught I would think... Its a lot easier to play the "Those arent mine" card when the shit is outside. Get caught with a plant in your house... theres really no denying that...

i guess if i lived in an area more suitable for it, it wouldnt be such a bad idea, but right now outside there is snow on the ground haha, my growing season isnt all that great

well, If u decide to grow outside... Order some seeds that have a fast finishing time. Like lowryder, early misty, top 44, AK-47 that way, when the choppers are flying over finding all these late bloomers you'll be sitting on ur stash and planting ur indoor crop for the winter!

Also, never plant in an organized plot. Its better to grow one plant every 10-15 steps it a straight line.

Again I have to differ with backyard as we know a single outdoor plant can yield easily up to a pound per plants so 5 plants equals 5 lbs now to get an lb per plant inside is very very hard.It takes 1000 watt per plant in 20 gallon containers with co2 and perfect grow conditions so that being said outdoors yields much larger then indoors now if your inddor you can doo many more plants in a much quicker time which in the end can get you as much or more bud as a couple outside plants.Getting caught outside is easy since you have to walk to them to water and feed them and check on thier needs leaving yourself open to be seen followed or waited for at the spot while indoor if you pay your bills dont show anyone and be observent no one knows..
