Electric bill question HELP

Everyone always says "as long as you pay your bill on time...dont steal electric etc...I just got a little paranoid.Havent paid my bill in months due to a layoff etc..Just made a payment plan and my bill averages about a hundred a month.I just had a electtric company person outside my house but i dont know if for me or any neighbors(urban area)but it made me nervous.I always feel safe,small 400hps ,but i just think of all the people saying "as long as you pay your bill" etc.I never had it shut off but i live close to poverty and im always late with all my bills (but i do pay)Am i safe still?

I was there to close someone's electricity. Maybe I'll get you next time 8)

You're good.. They'll notify you if they are going to be shutting your electric off. As long as you don't fail to follow thru on your payment plan,you're fine. The electric guy was probably just there reading meters, as they do every month!
