Some Questions's!! 600w HPS!! Ballast, Airflow, Etc.....

Can all Ballast's take both HPS and MH bulbs?

Also how important is airflow/fresh air from outside?
I don't have a small grow box or anything I have half a room but I've blocked up the window..
I have an oscillating fan in the room what keep's the temps down if that help's any!!

How many plant's would fit under a 600w HPS without being to much?

Very Important!

My rule is 1 plant per 100 watts, but it depends on what growing style your using

You can do 6 good plants with a 600w hps.
You must have an extraction and an intake for the room and dont use outdoor air as an intake or you will be inviting bugs in to the growroom (keep it sealed and sterile).
And if you have a 600w HPS ballast you can run any bulb in the lamp either mh or hps as long as the wattage of the bulb used does not exceed the ballasts wattage.

Cheap growing style lol sort of...cost me about 170 so far
I'm using soil in a mylar covered room, I'm getting 2 - 250w enviro light's for side lighting in a few day's also!!
I want to practice growing bagseed before I buy seed's or cutting's or is that a bad idea what you think?

Dont waste your time with bagseed go straight for the kill.
The lights sound fine and if you have a 600w hps ballast you can run both mh and hps bulbs in the lamp as long as the bulbs wattage does not exeed 600w. So basically you can run a 250w/500w mh bulb in you lamp as long as its wired through your 600w hps ballast.

I plant 8 seeds under a 400w hps and expect to get 4-7 females thus creating more space.

I never weigh my yeilds but they are not massive this is a pic of one of my plants.
I only grow for personal usage.
