ok new post. ive decided to keep going. i have 3 diesel ryders growing at roughly 3 weeks old. although joint doctor says they would show their sex in 20 days but this is not the case here. we will see, any day now im sure. The green o matics (3) that i planted are going nuts. only 8 to 9 days old and already 3 inches tall with 2 pairs of leaves. looking good thus far with the out door grow.

green o matic survived and are safe. im ready just to put this whole thing on hold and re-evaluate my life/situation. but i will tend to the ones outdoors for now, they are hidden and safe. ill update on that.... cheers

ummm... Well I was just checking on them and I noticed that one of my sprouts hadn't made any progress for awhile. Long story short, it's dead... Could be genetics, could be my fault... I really don't know, the other 14x seem happy as heck though.

oh well... Now I have more room for females when these ones sex.

I have (all femm'd)
2x easy ryder
2x afghan kush ryder
1x flower power

I will be planting those after I remove the males from this round. I still haven't decided if I want this to be a seed run or not.

anyway, I haven't even posted this info in my grow yet.... So I'm off to make the official update.

id like to add my opinion about the AEROGARDEN. I think this system is a POS. I dont even see how it can grow full sized tomatoes. The 3 - 25w cfl lights are so weak you have to run it 24 hours a day just to get the benefits of 8 hours outside. Certainly not worth the cash. Start them in a paper towel then move them to hydro or soil. but the aerogarden is a cute way of wasting time and might make you look like a dummy.

Id like to discuss about guerilla growing from what ive learned thus far.

1. LIGHTING/SUN- of course the sun is all powerful, in fact more than enough. try planting your little girls in places that dont get a full days sun. the morning and afternoon before 4 is perfect, with some nice shade for the end of the day, the hottest times. I would say that a minimum of 6 hours direct sunlight is needed.

2. STEALTH - Always have more than one way in and out, and use these different routes and alternate when you visit the grow site(s), the harder it is to get there, the better. I suggest visiting at night if at all possible, or dawn. Less people, traffic, etc. I try to wear darker clothes, backpack for my water/tools/nutes, and two flash lights, one a small white led flash light (in case of emergency), the other a red light led for night vision. The red light is good not only for the plants at night, but cannot be seen from a distance, much the same like our troops in vietnam used by having red lens flash lights, to read maps, letters, etc. Also its a good idea to visit during clear moon cycles so you have natural moon light to guide you. also try just waiting in the dark until your eyes adjust to the dark, youll be amazed what you can see with moon light and a good pair of eyes. As you enter the bush to get to your grow site try to step lightly and dig your feet under the floor of plant life. This will create minimal foot steps and wont trample the ground/plants you walk on. this reduces tracks and trails to your grow site(s).

3. GROW SITES - Much like the old saying "dont put all your eggs in one basket", the same is applied here. use multiple sites, spread the girls out. so if some get detected maybe not all though.

4. VISITS - Once a week atleast. ideally every 4 to 5 days, but dont visit too often. it creates visable tracks, trails, and awareness to yourself.

Eeveryone you are welcome to add stuff, lets see what other ideas are out there.

Just another newbie trying to grow for all the wrong reasons. This dude bought 100s of dollars of seeds all at once. I mean he went ape shit on his order. Even though he has space for only 6. Maybe you should have invested in a few more books or equipment instead of stockpile auto seeds lol.

I'm a newbie that joined the site to learn as much as I could. I am only stating my own opinion. I would think that if you had some type of; knowledge, experience, constructive criticism, or information, to share with a newbie such as myself that you could find a more polite way to go about it. Unless you just feel like being a rude and angry person, in which case, that's fine too.

So update on seed banks:

everyonedoesit.com- great prices and site is nice but the company is shit, or maybe a scam. It's been over 10 days since I placed my order... They said my order was out of stock and asked if I wanted it replaced with something else. I picked a replacement and have yet to hear back from them (it's been 3 days since I've heard from them). I asked for a tracking number 3 times now, no reply. They hardly ever reply to emails within 24 hours let alone 48. Stay away, stick with the attitude. They have their shit together.
