Last year on April 20th I planted some some bag seed outside in central Florida which turned out to be a sativa strain and it didn't flower until about mid August. This year I planted some g13 pineapple express and white widow sativa/indica mix a little earlier and I am already noticing the beginning stages of flowering so I guess it depends on the strain. As the humidity goes, some plants are ok with high humidity and some are not, depends on the strain.

Typically it's spring to fall for an outdoor grow, but it can vary depending on each strains flowering cycle.

With high humidity I would be worried about powdery mildew.

You don't make an outdoor plant flower, sit back and watch it happen naturally. Once the solstice passes on 6/21(I think) the days start to get shorter and that, plus strong branches and roots, is all the plants need. Each strain will bloom at slightly different times and for longer or shorter periods.
