I do 24/0 and 18/6 when vegging for the reasons i mentioned. My babies do not like 24-7. It makes them look puny and ragged like a mangey dog. Such a lighting scheme is not found in nature which has been previously pointed out by some other smart person. Weak lights causes stretching not being in the dark for a while as the Lord intended for plants. What are you people smoking? 18/6 is the only way to fly for veg.

Agreed........................................Growing indoors under artificial light is all about pushing the boundries of nature. That is why we go straight to 12/12 when we want to flower instead of slowly decreasing the light over the course of weeks, like it occurs in nature. We use abrupt changes in light schedule to shock the plants into doing what we want them to do. Not enough shock to cause hermies, but enough to make the plant start the flowering cycle before it might be ready to do on its own in nature. I use 24 hour a day lighting for vegging it is my personal choice. I have tried 18/6 and went back to 24/0. One less timer to break and replace.
As i said thats just his OPINION and is incorrect as plants grow better getting the right amount of sunlight hours.
How many places in the world that cannabis plants are grown have the sunshine 24/0 ??????????
WOWNo you are not understanding the basics here.
24/7 would mean 24hrs light on and 7hrs lights off. (not possible when 1 day = 24hrs).
.
yup ditto. Fuck excess stretching I dont need that shitMy veg lights are on 24 hours a day.
