Well got a nice girl growing under 4 150w cfls in my grow box, no need for me to go into the grow box as its produced gr8 results in the past.

this strain is Nirvanas Ice everything was going fine or is going fine however over the last couple oh days av noticed some lower fan leafs turning spotty yellow, it starts on the middle leaf of the fan leafs then spreads to the others.

Only changes to this grow i have made from the previous ones= I recently tried the sugar and yeast CO2 generator trick and have had the bottle in

That's pretty normal, and harmless as long as it's not spreading throughout the entire plant. It could be due to lack of light penetration, or possibly the plant is running a little low on nitrogen, and burning up those old leaves that it isn't really using anymore. Either way, it's not a major problem, as long as the whole plant isn't getting effected by it, or is spreading quickly. :)

P.S. Have you grown Ice before? It's a strain I want to try someday, after a guy i really trust told me that it was his favorite strain, out of the many that he grew in his life. He quit growing like 7-10 years ago, so he admitted that there's likely better strains out there nowadays, but he also said that i won't be disappointed with Ice. It's a close relation to Crystal(both have WW as a parent), and I love that strain, so I'm pretty sure it's excellent stuff. Gotta love those white strains, eh?

You should be fine as long as they don't all start yellowing. You could be nearing the end of your flowering period and the buds are possibly sucking the stored energy from the fan leaves to swell and fatten up a bit, which is quite normal. And judging by the look of your leaves, looks pretty indica, so thus, a shorter flowering period. Only other thing I can think of would be a little nitrogen deficiency. I could be wrong, but that's to the best of my knowledge. Hope things work out for ya.

I've had a few people tell me that ice is the shit. I personally love WW as well. If there's a hybrid with that, you've gotta love it! I know the question wasn't directed toward me, but I saw it, so I thought I'd give a little input. =)

your strain looks indica dom, so you only have 2-3 weeks left before you chop anyways

like the others said its no big deal, its prob early signs of a N def, which is normal late into flower. your plant is eating those leafs for the nitrogen they contain, because you bloom nutes have little to no N

thats a relief, I haven't grown ice afore, I only have northern lights experience and always remember the yellowing later than this, but obviously diff strains will differ, these wer nirvana seeds always had good results wi them in the past.

is ther any way i could solve a low nitrogen prob, additives etc ??

No problem man, I always like to hear opinions on strains, and WW is another I want to try someday. Ice, Crystal, and White Widow are the three white strains that i want to compare, and find out if there is a clear winner in potency, or if they're all similar, with different types of buzzes.

Me and my buddies are noobs to top quality smoke, because it NEVER makes it to this area, until i grew some of my own.lol Well, let me say this....we were all freakin amazed when we got to try out the first sample of the Crystal, and it was still almost 2 weeks premature.lol Man, now the problem is that we're all spoiled. If something ever happens and my grow goes to shit, we won't be able to get high for months, not on the crap that's around here normally. I guess that'd be a good time to go on a shroom bender, eh?

It's not that bad, so I'd probably just add a little extra fert when you're mixing it, then keep an eye on it. I'm pretty sure that after the stretching is done with, it won't be a problem anymore, so you'll probably only want to give it that slightly stronger dose, like once or twice.

Honestly, they look really good, so it won't take much to get them back on track, and growing smoothly.

I'd say just bury your stalk in a little extra layer of good soil. Not too much because remember, you'll be done with this grow soon enough. (Just being a bit conservative. =P) You should be fine though, PSJ.

I'd like to get ahold of a grip of the three whites and do a simultaneous grow with them and test/compare as well. That sounds like a hell of an experiment if you ask me! And with pretty sick results if you ask me. ;)

But ahh...I totally understand you there. See, here in southern california, we're definitely spoiled with some of the best herb and have been for a while. I guess everyone's relying on you where you're at! More fuckin' power to you for that!

DONT CHOP EARLY! WAIT TO SEE AMBER IN TRICHS!
This is a natural occuring when she is flowering the fan leaves die off for the plant to get maximum focus growth on to the buds. BTW FLUSH FLUSH FLUSH!!!
Nice plant!

your leaves are pretty dark green so its not N def thats your problem so ill agree with passthat and say flush your lady i kinda think you been adding a lil to much fert

yeah that could be understandable as i judge amounts of miracl gow to ad to water by a pinch in my fingers, ill start giving a good flush, the reson im so paranoid i think is this appears to have spread rather quick n the fact ther still 3 weeks on my count i was concerned what will happen in that time such as if it could spread to bud, but as far as i can see its not effectin the bud at all,

ps iv also noticed this is effecting the middle to top of the plant a lot more than below, for anybody else with these symptom
