So I was doing some looking around and seen a descent price 400w hps. Looking at the ballast though it just looks like it would get real hot and also seems like it would be costly in electric. Let me know what you guys think!!:leaf:

Sounds a good idea to trade strains, as you know I got the Snow White thanks to the kindness of another member here and I'll do the same for him one day when I have something special again. Hey Mature! I wish I could own a dog but they don't allow it were i stay. I would for sure own a boxer though if I did! The story behind the avatar is I guess it's dog shit month? lol I did it for SubtleChaos. Just the mk going right now but ima plant some random purple strain seeds my buddy and I traded...The buds were good when I tried them..

So...I recently talked with the grower that gave me the fem BGS2 and It could be one of these Master Kush, Strawberry Cough, Magic Bud, Mango, or Tangerine. Very frustrating not knowing which one it is and prob wont till it has visible buds. My buddy said he would def know what it was if he saw it during flower.

Here are some older pics of BGS2...has since grown taller and LST'd again. I plan on taking her all the way around the rim of the grow bag:-P She is taking very well to the LST and I even took a small cutting from her that has been doing well for the first 24hrs. :leaf:

Ya any of those strains would be tastey but I'm hoping for either the Master Kush or the Tangerine. Everyone just loves the Kush, and the Tangerine I read is just very strong in taste. We will seebongsmilie

Ya, and I'm also still trying to get used to the area that a HPS covers rather than a CFL lol. I just see growers that got there plants off in the corner of the room and it does just as well as the plant directly under.
I would really like to get a light mover but my local hydro shop is asking just as much money as that 400w set-up. I really just can't wait to get the HPS and see for my self how much area it covers:-P Should be purchasing it within a couple weeks:leaf:
