The cages (on mine, anyways) will be taken off when the plant gets 2 or 3 feet tall.
Cool... Thanks man. Ive heard of people keeping them on full term so i was just wondering if there was any benifit to it or dose it actually manke that much of a difference in training the shape of the plant?

OK I'm in Here are some pics of my outdoor grow. As I have the luxury of being able to, my plants are in the ground. I dug a hole 10'X10' and 2 feet deep ( by hand, is that dedication? ) refilled hole with alternating layers of straw, sand, chicken manure, compost, and soil, I tilled the mixture together before applying next group of layers, and it took a total of five layer groups to fill the hole. Growing Carmelicious from seeds which I started on April 9th. Plants went into the ground around May 9th ( you can beat those freezing nights by putting five gallon buckets over plants at night ) so they've got quite a start on the season. See you all in Dec.

I get the feeling I'm probably gonna' have some branches that aren't growing right because of my cages... One thing I've learned about Cannabis is that it's very resilient. If I get some funky lookin' branches, I should be able to save most of them with some simple training... ... If not... Well, at least the damn rabbits didnt get em'! Haha. I got enough out there, that I can afford to sacrifice a branch or two if I have to. But ONLY IF I HAVE TO!!!:)
