how much co2 from sugar/yeast

so i have 2 2liter bottles with tubes feeding a 2x2x3 ft box, and my fan is set to half hour on/ hour off, will the yeast produce a decent amount of co2 befor the fans circulate all the air?

I like the set up. You might want to think about having the delivery point above the leaves, so it will drift down and saturate them.

Think, I'm going to incorporate your tube into my bottles, however, I am going to make one change, CO2 is heavy, and I don't know if it can push enough of itself up and then down towards the plants.

So, I think that I'm gonna extract mine from the side of the bottle.

this system works fine as long as the bottles and tubes are air tight, the yeast will make excess co2 which will force it through the tubes and onto the plants , im just wonderin how much these things will actually produce, if its enough for a 12 sqft area

Have you ever brewed Ale in a 5 gallon bucket? It will build up pressure in the bottle as the yeast ferments naturally. The only thing is when the yeast runs out of the fermentable sugar it will put out less CO2. Be sure to put plenty of fermentable sugar in the bottle when you start. The more sugar you give the yeast to feed on the more CO2 it will produce.

Did you seal the connection where the tubing goes thru the bottle top?

Nope, never made beer, always grew weed

oh ya its sealed, that way the only co2 that can escape is where i put the end of the tube

If you make a home brew lager in your grow area it will help to mask the odour and give of loads of free co2.
So that = almost free lager+free c02+odour control+better weed=happy git

I have just put in two bottles with air hose and sugar,yeast to see if its going to make a difference...

I have also switched my fans to the same timer as my water... As I am growing in clayballs, I water for 15 minutes every hour, so now that's what my fan is running... Heres hoping to see some change...

My bottles... 2 x 2 litre cordial bottles half filled with hot water and 3 cups of sugar and three heaped teaspoons of yeast.. I'll let you guys know... Peace and greenery...

has anyone come across pictures of results using CO2 with yeast and water?? You know, 1 pic of a plant grown with CO2 produced from sugar and yeast and 1 pic of a plant grown without?

I know of the benefits of CO2 but does this fermentation process really help that much?? I've yet to see result pics as I previously described.

You've got a real small space so dunno, maybe you'll get a boost from your set up, but my gut tells me you'll have to add sugar and water so often it'll be a major pain in the a$$ and not as cheap as you think. IMO just bite the bullet and get a co2 tank and regulator.

Oh, and if your going to use the CO2 from your home brew then you gotta do hefeweizen, not lager
