Germinating Question

What is the temp and humidity range for germinating seeds? I currently have 7 seeds in jiffy pellets in a dome with a hydro farm heating mat and two digital thermo/hydrometers one outside the dome one inside.

the one inside currently reads 90.3 F and 96% humidity and the one outside reads 85.6 F and 38% humidity. is the temp to high? i currently have a piece of card board between the heating mat and the 72 site dome.

How long does it usually take to germinate this way?

All the seeds are bag seeds from the past few batches i have had except 3 was planning to do a inside grow and ran into challenges with people not being reliable but long story short this hippy dude gave me 12 seeds told me they grow short and produce 2 ounces a plant so i am assuming its lowrider not sure but i'm only trying 3 for now.

1 purple kush
2 cp haze
1 hash plant haze
3 lowrider???

that is way to hot for bean just put them in a cool dark place in a paper towel and a zip lock bag and in a few day bam good to go

well i already went through this whole process lol should i just unplug the heat pad and take off the dome for a bit

i unplugged the hydro farm heating mat and the inside temp is now 81.3F 80% H

yeah between 80 and 85 are good temps for germinating and then drop it down to 75 - 80 once they sprout.

74* inside the propogator and about 90% humidity.

How long does it usually take to germinate this way?

3 days but give them time some can take 5 days.

Open the dome for a 1/2 hr everyday to get some fresh air in there.

Thanks very much I had asked a friend and he had told me the dome and heater is only for clones but that's not correct is it?

I was already doing that so i didn't cook them thank you so much for the reply!

I got nervous last night and didnt wanna risk cooking my bag seed from my friends batch of purple kush so i removed it from the jiffy pellet and put in a moist paper towel in a zip along with the rest of the low rider(not sure) seeds i had laying around.

PS: Any help is welcome! Trying to get a good grasp on germinating i just ordered 50 swiss cheese beans from nirvana is anyone familiar with this strain?

They are definitely not lowryder at 2oz a plant. If they were lowryder he would have mentioned they're auto flowering. He's probably just describing a short indica .

All i know is he says they dont take long from seed to harvest and you can cut a month off from clone which he says they take easily
