Yeah I agree, the plant has a potential an can not pass that, but by keeping say 4 colas instead of one, the plant has less traveling to do from roots to buds and also that will allow better distribution of light. Lower buds become better seeing how they get more light.yes sir it will.
but its not necessarily better.. sometimes one main cola = 8 small colas... but tbh i think topping deff. allows a higher yield overall.. but I am not that experienced so dun ask me.
and if you top them early then veg them for 2 months the 4 colas with thicken up a lot so you pretty much would get atleast 3 times as much as you would with one right?Yeah I agree, the plant has a potential an can not pass that, but by keeping say 4 colas instead of one, the plant has less traveling to do from roots to buds and also that will allow better distribution of light. Out here in Oregon, Eugene. we see alot of bud rot. So yeah I see what your saying and when I o get my hands dirty in real soil I will remember this. The main reason I top when growing outdoors is to prevent bud rot in the main cola. Smaller colas means less of a chance of bud rot developing.
1 oz cured off each cola? was that with cfls? or hidThats logical, being that the more you veg the more potential she has. Also what I do is transplant her so there are 4 branches coming out of soil. Using the FIM method I have easily harvested 5-7 oz per plant. The 4 cola method I have harvested 1 oz per branch of main bud.
oh okay, i was thinking about getting a 400 watt for flower for 6 plants
