Hey medicineman843 - I just finished up with a LR2 plant:

I had it on a 20/4 light cycle the whole time. I also used Fox Farm nutrients.

WOW that shit is amazing. I wasn't really sure what i was getting my self into. I was looking a PH Meters. Some were 30 all he way to 80, They have the ones that have temp gauge and PH meters. Do yall have any advice. I really don't want to spend any more money. I'm at about 850 total with 30 lowryder 2# and 20 LR2 X diesel. Its a 6 gallon tote with 6 net pots hydroton. It said to maintain 10years on the UFO LED was only 16 hours a day so 18 would be perfect. I feel that 20hr is great for the plants but i don't want to overuse this light. It does have a 2 year warrenty so i could just really use is hardcore for the next few years. And what were your nutrient cycles and levels per gallon? Are you using bubbleponics? How much did that plant yield? How tall was it and what day into the cycle is that?

nice grow medicineman! props on LEDs, i too will be watchin to see how it stacks up....

And what were your nutrient cycles and levels per gallon?

ur nute strengths will vary from strain to nute brand...really, im 3 1/2 into flower usin a ebb&flow table, and im still not even up to 1/2 strenght of my nutes and its enuff to give them just the SLIGHTEST hint of nute burn (4 tablespoons of nutes, 2 tablespoons of molasses for 20 gallons)...so yea, less is def more in the case of growin lol

if your using aeroponics with fogger nozzles/misters, i heard 1 min on and 5 off (again, could vary from strain, plant age, etc but dno bout aeros lol)

good luck with your grow! excited to see how well it goes for ya!

:joint:Thank you for all of the positive feedback. Its a bubbleponic system with a 10 inch air stone. The light is the newest UFO on the market with a quad band. I'm trying out the nutes full strength for this week to see how they accept them. I'm following the hydro nute chart for the Fox farm trio. I also put in some root nutes to get them up to strength. Will be planting diesel ryder after this cycle...

nice those UFOs look good for veg i see...what you plan on using to flower?

I was just planning on running the UFO from seed to bloom. Lookin at how they are doing now i feel very confident that they will do well. I'm curious on how everything will end up. I really don't want to add anymore lights in the grow box.

Been having alot of issues with the PH in the DWC. I have a digi meter. But the ph seems to be jumping up and down a whole lot. After this i'm thinking about switching back to soil. How do i save these babies from this mold without killing them. Its pretty humid where the plants are. Should i put another small fan in the box?

I pretty sure that i found the problem. The water temp was at 30 celius which is like 90 degrees. I put ice in the dwc and reduced the temp to about 21 celius like low 70s. Also put hydrogen peroxide to help kill an root rot goin on. I looked it up about the mold and it is harmless to the plants but can hurt the roots if not treated. The inside temp was at like 95 degrees at 60% humidity. Added 3 teaspoon of grow bloom and checked ph and it was at 5.5ph. i put a 6 " desk fan and hooked it the the chain on the hanging light. and in 10 minutes it was down to 85 degrees. The some of the plants were already starting to lift up again toward the light. Hope every thing perks up. Will be checking for sex if everything looks good in the next 48 hours.

Can I ask where you sourced your UFO LED light from? I have seen 90W "UFO" LED lights listed at anywhere from $130 bucks to $500, and I cannot seem to tell any difference between one from ebay and one from an online Hydro shop. Getting an LED would remove the biggest obstacle to my growing- the crappy wiring in my house!
