my advice is to get rid of that heat lamp all together. the name of it pretty much tells you what its sole purpose is in life.. to create heat and not so much in the form of useable lumens in anykind of spectrum that is beneficial to growing mj.. heat is pretty much the enemy of growing mj indoors.. once you hit a certain point of temperature, mj growth pretty much slows to a crawl, unless your using co2, than mj can handle some more heat..
if your on a budget, i would just suggest going to your local home improvement store, and get as many of the biggest actual watt cfl bulbs in the 6500k range.. this is the correct spectrum for vegging your babies.. you can always add one or so of the lower k rated bulbs as well to mix up the spectrum, and once you get to flower, you will want to do the opposite, all 2700k ..

much better..now you just need to make sure you have an air cooled hood, or if you dont have one you need a lot of air circulation..keep those temps around 75˚. when it gets to 80˚ or higher thats when you will have problems.

because it is too hot...it slows the growth down. but if you run co2(which ive never really cared for) your temps will go up, and that is fine...to keep an optimal grow environment you want your room temps to stay between 70˚-78˚.

ut oh. i have an average of 76-80temps. i think its fine my plants hasnt shown any signs of heat stress. just on my top fan leaf where i hit it with a bulb.
Check out my grow im just updateing it now. Tell my what you think and what i should do.

you should be ok with that..try not to let it get higher than that tho..

when i first grew my temps were mad high, and my buds never got dense..it was a fuckin headache

they never got dense...my temps were almost in the 90's and i had no ventilation. i was too cheap to buy fans and suffered in the end.
Damn man i hope that doesnt happen to mine. I need to get a bigger fan in there. asap this is a wake-up call to me. I have seeen my room get up to 90's. i took out a 150w cool white bulb becuz it throws so much heat, and replaced it with a 26w warm whirte in there. So i should be good with 3 warm white bulbs and 1 150w cool white in my room?
