Intake or exhaust? Also depends how big your filter is if it is a exhaust... More info would help....

6" inline should be fine. Something in the range of 450cfm. Passive intake should be fine.

The filter is 30x16 I'm lookin for an exhaust fan

Anything in the 500-600CFM range will be good. 6" or 8"; whatever deal you get.
