Dont grow anything kush or kush related. Blue Cheese is very low odor. I bought a nice big new carbon filter just a little while ago. Its been working fine. Everyt hing is in veg though. I move in 3 kush plants- in veg- and right away I start getting these huge blasts of stinky kush smell blowing into my living room whenever the fan fires up. The Ona blocks work well.
What about a carbon filter on both ends of the exahust system? Also, I have seen some guys install fans and carbon filters that just scrub the inside air and then another carbon filter on the exauhst.

Make sure your grow room is airtight.
Is your fan powerful enough for the carbon filter?
How long have you had said carbon filter?
Have you considered buying a new one?

A carbon filter usually does the trick, if it's not working then there's a problem with it.

Using ona gel helps as a secondary preventative of odour.

Hi mate just read the hole thread...

Here is an idea i came up with to help with the smell. Go buy some ONA blocks and put them in the ducting that exhausts to the outside of the property your in. It works for me for sure. All i can smell is fresh linen. And im growing 24 lady's pics below. The smell in the room is intense, but no smell out side......

The doulble filters wont work bud it vents outside. Goona try the ona gel everyone is raging about it.

Aww man, we can deal with smell. It's heat that is usually the big problem. Like others have said, get a couple ONA blocks and place them throughout the ducting and grow area. You only need 2 or 3. Also, It's possible the carbon in your filter needs to be reactivated again; or you can follow one of the various DIY carbon filters on here using activated carbon pellets. No need to stop growing man, let's solve this problem together.[

The idea was to stop after this crop, all i can think about is what to grow next.

Just grow a lower smelling strain like Northern lights, bubbliscious, blueberry or blue mystic.. smell trouble gone and these are pretty potent strains.

I built an ozone generator, from a microwave transformer and 2 stainless steel pieces of mesh divided by glass. (be realy carefull coz it will kill ya if ya touch it!!!!!) It worked ok, but was a bit scary, lol

haha dude Essex you are fuckin crazy, but the fuckin man; hahaha. there ain't no way in hell i'd mess with something that dangerous -- electrical wiring is dangerous enough, let alone a microwave transformer -- i would have accidentally with the shit with a screwdriver or something and blew my brains out of my eyes and ears.

one less grower makes me sad the world needs to be growing in growers, not deminishing....though i do understand not wanting to get fucked over by the long dick of the law...good luck with your decision, but as your cutting down your children, just be thinking about all the hard work you put into it, all hours, all the money, the detication. i believe 99% of growers share the same passion as i do in growing the strongest pot the world has ever seen!! I mean thats most of our goals is it not??? If not that then the best tasking bud the world has ever tasted...so just keep all this in mind while your commiting murder tomarrow....i will shed a tear tomarrow thinking of you killing them beautiful plants...............

Dont get the gels or the blocks. Get the Ona Pro liquid. Its the most odor control potency of all the Onas in the medium that dries out / evaporates the slowest. Its only a few dollars more per gallon, but will last many, many, more months. Most importantly, never get the auto spray cans, they over do it and you dont want those particles in the air touching your plants anyhow. Only use their spray outside the plant room. Even then, why buy it since Ona Pro is all you need.
