HOW do you turn your plants purple????

hey there
ive got a blue widow in 5 weeks of flowering at the moment and I havnt had much experience with purple/blue strains and i know that low temperatures can cause bluish/purpleish hue; but how do you do this? how much lower to your standrd temp do you need to lower it to? at day or night?
any help much appreciated

yeah low temps and a good purple strain and there are some color enhancers but i hear they're junk

It is mostly based off of genetics. Purple has nothing to do with quality, but people are suckers for the purps.

what about food color if it isn't that much better why not just color it?

hell yeah but through the roots not like carnations where they cut it and put it in colored water. or maybe a colored syringe injector?

like with Koolaid with out the sugar?

it was years ago but i remeber not putting too much in the water, i think, so you cud try it again but put loads in
