First Post, First Grow (Currently 50%-ish into flowering)

Any feedback appreciated! Grow tent, 5 gal bucket, 400 watt hps, 65 actual watt CFL.

Using pete's Big Bloom fert. Any word on this stuff? It was in the house. Again, first grow, inexperienced dude!

Looking at maybe mid july to cut her down.

not being rhetorical, can you ever give it too much light? or do you mean i'm just wasting electricity? i plan on getting a few more plants in there, obviously.

nice happy looking plant ,with all that room I would tie down some of the branches of that plant,gently bring them out horizontally to let light inside the plant ..long as your easy and dont force it you wont hurt or stress a thing and you'll get more yield from the plant ..I like the rolls of green twisty tie stuff from the dollar tree or the grow shop ..

and that CFL would be good for cloning ,but it's not going to effect anything if you took it out..kind of a waste unless it was facing the underside of the plant looking/facing up would be the only way I could see to possibly make it benefit you at all

you can always drill little holes on the top edge of the bucket for something to tie to ,Branch tied to hole in bucket ...or paper clips will grab the top lip of a bucket sometimes too,but I've had them pop off ,but the key is to get her to spread open and stay that way..light/lumen penetration <<< that's what it's about ,tie the side out and leave them like that.....just tossing some ideas out there,,good growing!

it is from unidentified bagseed. when I have my game down surely I'll order high quality strains. gotta learn to clone. I have some gel but did not have an opportunity to try taking a cutting from this gal.

a 400 will work perfect for flowering one plant. it looks good. i got just finshed a big grow and i had three free seeds of mmg but only one came out to be a female its half way through flowering now. i have a thread on it.. but with the sppace that you have the 400 will do more then the job. what kind of nutes are you using and whats the nute dose? you might want to up it so you can get some fatter bud. but keep it growing
