So I'm driving a client from the Casino I work at, to a destination of his choice and then returning back to the Casino. During the drive we started to talking and he told me he lived in grass valley and was in charge of growing medicinal on his land. Now I get really curious and we start talking more. Getting into this topic we really start shooting the shit, but we eventually arrive at another hotel. After dropping him off and waiting about 20 min, he comes back out and hops in the car.
As we pull out of the drive, he reaches over and says, "here's something I think you'll enjoy," plopping a small sack in my palm. I smile, quickly pocketing it. I ask him if it's homegrown and he tells me that it's actually old and he left it in the closet for too long, hence why it is brown. That made me a frown a little because I was hoping it was a taste of some of his medicinal crop. But I figured I'd inspect the bud first and give it a once over to see myself. So after I dropped him back off at the casino, I had my chance.
It is about 4-5 medium, dense nugs that have a purpleish, brown tint. No green really, and the odor is very low. I carried it around in my pocket in an open bag for the rest of my shift without any fear of being caught because the odor is so low. But I don't think there is anything wrong with it besides it age and the improperly cured nature. Anything to fear besides a shitty tasting smoke? Would vaporizing it be better in this case?
