ok i already cut down my plant to dry right now but after looking at it i see a lot of white piston masses all around like it was still growing. the trics were 40% brown i made a post and a guy responded to saying that it was perfect time to do it so i did it and i looked back and a guy said not to cut it down. what is a simple way to tell? just wait until the leaves yellow or what. this was my first harvest i have 2 outdoor ladies vegging still i dont want to fuck up next time

the way im gonna harvest is use a 16X magnifiing glass to zoom in on the buds and when u see u lil tch bubbles which are unpollentated seeds when they go a misty amber thats when your ladies the most potent for harvest if u dont have one then wait for 50-60% of the triches togo brown

it was about 40%-60% brown, but there was noticable new flowering all over the plant was i right to chop it down or should i have waited. its an outdoor plant that was flowered at the end of march idk if it started flowering more cuz the days are getting longer or if it wasnt done yet

Pictures help us have an idea of what you are talking about. If it is cut down, then there is nothing more that can be done. The pistils are the white hairs, and their color isn't a good way to judge maturity. The Trics are the Thc crystles that form on and around the bud sites and will form clear, change to a "foggy" or milky color as they mature, and then its chop time when they start to turn amber. You should use atleast a 30x magnifier to view these, and must check them often towards harvest time. Trics are the only true way to tell maturity.
