Best bait to catch stripper and cat fish

you know... its weird, but catfish really respond to WD-40. just spray a little on the worm or jig or whatever and yeah... works. seriously, try it. go fishing with a buddy, same spot same bait, one with wd-40, one without. see who gets more. id put money on it.

One of WD-40's main ingrediant is fish oil of some type. The smell attracts them i assume.

ill add that to my arsenal. I will bring a can of dog food a can of cat food and a can of wd40

I use old rotten chicken for cat fish I just put bits of chicken out in the sun for a day and put it in small cheese cloth or panty hose balls that way they dont fall apart when casting. If your fisghing at night get some glow in the dark paint to put on your bobber to see when you got company, Up here in western canada cat fish is considered unedible and an invasive fish but allot of fun to catch.

I caught 3 cat fish and 6 striper. at first all i was catching was sticks. then I geuss I moved to the right place and me and my friend starting cating them like crazy. we had clams but they didnt like the clams they were eating sardines. It was fucken fun as hell.im sun sunburned bad but it was fun.
