My first ever grow nearing its end (pics)

So this grow is my first ever. After reasearching relentlessly I finally got lights and clones and soil and I was ready to go.
I got two clones, one was a white widow and one was a pure power plant. I savagly murdered my pure powerplant from pure lack of experience but the white widow stayed healthy and is now flowering.
About two weeks after I put the white widow into flower a friend of mine gave me a green crack clone that he wanted to flower. I thought it was a little too early, the plant was about 9 inches but I was strong and green so I went for it.
These plants are being fed with shultz 2-7-7 cactus food at the recommended dose. I know its not the best nutrient I could get but it was around the house and its my first grow so i figured what the hell.
They are being grown under cfl's, I don't really feel like calculating the lumens but its plenty of light and keeps them growing, I am keeping the bulbs very close to the foliage.
So these are pictures of the White Widow, she is 16 inches tall, i topped her in veg so i have a few colas growing.

And now the green crack. She is one foot tall and not topped so only one cola.

So... comments and advice would be greatly appreciated. This grow is soley a learning experience so i'm not too worried about yield. I mostly care that i just get some pretty good bud.
I'm sort of lost on how to harvest. I know when i need to based on hairs and trichomes but im not exactly sure what to do with the bud after i cut it off the plant.
I want to keep the plants to re-veg and get some mothers but im not sure about how or when to trim, i'm going to do water curing and dry it in a low temp oven.

Theres plenty of info in the Harvesting and Curing section, its the most important part of growing because if done wrong you're entire time and effort is wasted so you might want to do some research in there.

Both water curing and drying in a oven will lower the quality of your buds. Personally, I wouldn't do either, wait it out and dry your buds in a dark room with some kind of air movement and let them hang in there for about a week. Then cure in jars for a minimum of 2 weeks, its worth the wait trust me!
