Imagine this solar activity creates the best growing enviroments everywhere around the world for cannabis to grow!
If this were true, I would be like johnny appleseed but with cannabis seeds! :bongsmilie:

Staring out the window and the terrain flies by. I'm wondering about the rest of the day, the way things sit, and how its all going to go down. The most familiar mountains and trees slowly fade as the twists and turns brings us further down into the foothills and orchards. Then come the farms and open grassland, and they make way into city, and memories flooded me like a burst dam. The sleeping dragon in me lashed out to be free and go frolic among the many familiar places of despotism within easy reach. On the forefront of my mind was my wanderings, my adventures. Typically just me. Going. walking on, destination-less, keen to observe, learn, and experience the vibrations of our civilizations song. Faces one by one crossing into vision and fading out to the next, and with each came the instantaneous sensations of what those moments felt like, the frozen frames in the memories of my mind. I suppose most people would consider these adventures as a general waste of time. Sometimes I would sit for hours and watch traffic, or just browse through stores listening to people, playing with merchandise..... sometimes I would mess with people and ask then uncanny questions that one wouldn't expect to be asked while out shopping for groceries. Sometimes I would strike up conversations with random people and wind up going with them on short journeys..... sometimes the short journeys turned into long ones.... and sometimes I would find myself half way across the country, wondering about my family and homeland, whilst playing into wondrous ideas of groups and my own.... writing my name in stones along the highway in the desert, while hitch hiking..... always hitch hiking. Just me and the road. Walking up highway 1 from as close to bottom as I dare venture, to top and beyond. Surveying the land, constantly. And surveying the people, as well. I noticed such a clash, such pain, and controversy in directions. So much time to think, to sort, to explore and come to understand what I saw and experienced. I remember starving, broke, going from town to town, south, and staying up all night in the diners, making necklaces and buying a round of all night coffee. The cops laughing as a bum gets beaten up in the street. Fun strangers along the road, temporary companions that saw me through my journey, gave me warm coffee and news of their lives and the world. I remember the after parties from the concerts, the shows. The drugs, and the women, the crazy antics, and beautiful music. So many wonderful experiences out there to behold, and myself, so tiny just walking down the road.
And back into the life of the other me, finish school, and work some, the dragon slumbers for its time. The views, and the knowledge, the friends, the plans, and new goals. Always the inner yearning to go out, to be on the river, and floating freely down the river, going wherever life takes me. Over time I become hardened to this lifestyle, and start to lose sight of some of the most valuable and key elements of what I consider to be "me". I see parts of me lain to rest here or there, or disappear all together. I find myself not knowing me anymore, not liking what this lifestyle is, entails, why, and realizing I had no idea what I was getting into, and my true essence is not into it. I asked someone the other day if they voted. They said "no, why would I participate in a system I don't believe in?". This question has been playing in the back of my mind in a lots of ways..... I almost feel like my life has always had this question burning in the back of my brain, that its important and I shouldn't let it go.
And the day was just that.... a storm of memories and deep thought befalling me as I muddled my way through the city and home..... smoking bowls and chit chatting the way through... family is good. :)

It's always nice to hit a bowl while taking a ride in your thoughts. I can picture the entire journey, but hey that's what good writing skills will do. I too get the occasional itch to go where ever the wind blows, but then I am reminded of all the many things that have me locked down for now..family, job, mortgage payments etc. Someday, though I will be making a treck myself again, maybe this time I will have a companion in my wife. Thanks for sharing :)

Im sure you will get back out there some day. :)

How about some pics of veggies and flowers, with a little explanation? going to have to edit in explanations though..... And I already snapped some pics of the Other garden, ;), just going to have to wait to post them till I get home from working ;).

General info- Just moved in a year ago, and Im trying to turn a house and yard into a home and garden ;). None of the walls were in place prior to me showing up. Most of the soil was excavated from somewhere else and moved in. Including for the "lawn" there. This upcoming fall I will lay in grass seed for a more uniform look, and by next year I am planning on having a lot more established to work with, :D.

Pic 1- Indoor veggies inside, I have no idea whats going on with these, its a family project ;)

Pic 2- The rock wall stands about 1' tall, and approximately 20' long, been slowly getting this together since we moved in about 9 months ago

Pic 3- Tomatoes :), transplanted into there about two weeks ago

Pic 4- These bordered beds were just put in a little over a week ago.

Pic 5- The main outdoor veggie garden, looking east, its coming along.

Pic 6- This is the same area as pic 2. As you can see there is lavender on one side, and the other, and nothing in the middle. I am still trying to decide what to put in the middle there.... any suggestions?

Pic 7- More tomatoes, :), again two weeks in the ground.

Pic 8- Same area as pics 2 and 6. On the other side of the lavenders are two miniature Hybrid rose bushes, here is one, its blooms are pink/violet.

Pic 9- Tomatoes in the 5 gal pots are cherry tomatoes. I love cherry tomatoes, :).

Pic 10- These tomatoes were transplanted less than a week ago. They were volunteers that came up at another property and have been moved here, :).

Pic 11- Mellons, I sure am looking forward to these, :)

Pic 12- These are all heirloom tomatoes, I liked the bend in the stems, and am using it to my advantage. I think they will all do fine growing out of the same tire.

Pic 13- Klondike watermellons, :). These are the big fuckers, :).... mmm mmm.

Pic 14- Still trying to figure out what to put in center there.... I am really happy with how the slate borders are coming out, :).

Pic 15- Thats all lettuce on the left, strawberries on the right, and cherry tomatoes in the pots on the ground ;).

Pic 16- This other rose bush on the outside has yellow blooms.... so it goes, yellow, purple, blank, purple, pink/violet. I was thinking white in the center????

Pic 17- I waited way too long to transplant all these flowers. Wish more of them were perennial, but its ok I will replace them later. Im just hoping to get some decent blooms this year anyways.... and now I have these beds in, I can reuse them for years to come :).

Pic 18- More indoor veggies.... what the hell am I going to do with all these?

Pic 19- Main outdoor veggie garden area looking North West.

Pic 20- When I am not paying attention, my wife and children go around planting veggies in the coolest places! Like this tomato plant, and its pumpkin friends :)

Pic 21- Indoor veggies..... hehe... I already donated and gave a bunch away... Im sure my family will get these all spread around.... just not sure I will be all that happy where they all end up ;)..... they already planted carrots and squash in the front lawn!!! hehe

Pic 22- More mellons, these look like honey dew, but Im not sure. They are called emerald gem :).

Pic 23- Main outdoor veggie area looking Due West..... hehe.... PK in the back there almost goes along with the treeline :p

Waking up hazy and dazed, unfolding and looking around. Having just been curled up on the ground, A cool breeze lightly rustles the nerves, and heavy eyelids blink up and then down..... and up and then down, as the lime green leaves sway and reflect so much colour back, rising and standing weakly. They are dancing, they are shaking, the leaves, they are making such a comforting sound. Birds chirping in high and low pitches, swooping and flying on the breeze, the breeze that remains constant, gently tugging in this direction and that. sweet pollen and honey suckle smells inviting you into the forest for a moment. And the music starts to build, and a heart starts to be filled, regaining strength and looking around and realizing in awe at the majesty of the giant oak and pines, a persons true place in this world, and where we stand now. Thoughts become mixed and drowned out by the music, floating step by step through the waist high grasses , swishing at hips that are gliding seemingly effortlessly through their budding tips in the meadows Lost on the sound of natures song. Blooms and blossoms, flowers catching the eyes, reds, blues, purples, yellows, oranges and pinks, a rainbow mixed in with the sea of green before you, more than one had realized could so easily and so naturally be seen, be held and kept so effortlessly. A cloud passes through, briefly shading out the sun, and the you see the shadows dance on all these natural forms leading the eyes to a formation of rocks, granite boulders in a great heap just up ahead, moss covered on one side with a slight crack off to the other side a person could slip through. And so you do, and you feel the temperature change as you pass through the crack, like walking through an invisible barrier, a pocket in our earths spirit. The crack opens up to reveal a pathway going into the unknown of this heap of granite. Exciting! something new, only nature could carve and stack these stones, just for me to walk through just now. A bit musty, water leaks down from over head. winding and weaving and forking this way and that, after a while you find yourself thirsty. OK, whats that? Running water near by, some where up ahead. As you approach and the sound of the water gets louder, you see the light, another crack shining daylight through for you to see. Making your way there, focusing on the sound of the water, and out into the open sunshine, live water just off to the side, a little waterfall spitting out from the granite forms. A nice cool drink later, and you realize your standing in a patch of cannabis. You notice hundreds of strains you know and love, their smells and colors attracting your every sense. There are no tracks on the ground, no water lines, no evidence of other human activity. The soil is all natural, nothing packed in. Just to be sure you climb to the top of one of the Giant granite boulders surrounding the patch, with the creek running through the center. No one is around, no trails at all, in fact there is nothing but the most beautiful forest around. But how are you here? How did you come to this place? This patch is completely cut off from the rest of the world, encircled by these granite boulders. Over in the corner near the crack you emerged from, something shiny catches your eye. Climbing down, and getting closer, you can read the plaque that says, "To any that venture here, let it be known your true self is contained in this place, that you are lain to rest, and have faced all there is to face." Looking up once more at the crack whence you came, you realize the crack is gone, and all that's left is the etch of your name. Turning back to the patch, family and loved ones start speaking to you, laughing, crying, and speaking every word you ever wanted them to speak. Their faces are in the buds, their voices in the creak. And all at once, you realize you shouldn't be this young, and this place shouldn't exist. Suddenly wisdom and revelation float in on the mist. You breathe it in, just for fun, and you know you have finally gotten here, you have finally won. Time to set out with the sunset on your back, knowing that your dead, and happy about that fact.
