how can I add weight to my buds guys? Im 6 weeks in and wanna get more harvest weight

First grow. 41 days today and the buds are looking light... I had high ( 93 ) temps for most of growth and now I've recently lowered temps to 82. I am using kool bloom (GH) and my regular GH FLORA feeding sched. but I would like to know any additional ways of bulking these things up before harvest. Plus rep for increasing my weight :cool:

I just used Advanced Nutrients Overdrive on my 1st grow and it started new bud growth. I'd say I got 15% more yield because of it. I've heard there are better similar products but I can tell you this one works. Guuck luck

yeah id love to shift into overdrive. I just want to increase yield whether it be molasses, honey, whatever it takes, name of the game is weight!!! I've heard of spraying cola (coca, pepsi) to increase weight?

hella nice plants. the buds dont look that light in the pics. you still got like 2 weeks for them girls to fattin up.

Go to wal mart spent $2.50 on grandmas unsulpherd molasis add 2 tbsp per gallon it will fatten them up nicley.Use it all the way up till your last watering then just use water for the last watering

So you wanna get some more weight.....from what I understand the plants use the resin to catch pollin, if you stess them out a bit, they will work harder at producing more bud to catch resin as they feel threatened and wanna reproduce......some common practices include takin a thumb tak or toothpick and prickin the base of the stems that have your biggest buds......don't destroy the plant but piss er off a bit..you have quite a few plants there (really nice lookin I might add) so it might take a bit of time, but'll be well worth it!!...you should see a change in a couple days..and it won't cost ya anything, as organic as it gets !!...hope this helps....oh ya and Im not talkin out my ass....there is quite a bit of lit on this if you look for it.....try google and searching "Stress marijuana plant for more yeild"



BTW the only weight added by addin cola is the weight of the liquid itself.....don't be silly......colas and stuff are acidic and will not help.....and most likely hinder!!!

check this out dude, apperantly no one is reading what you are asking so i got a couple tricks that will help.

1. Molasses is definitely going to help your yield and make it look a whole lot better and its going to make the buds way more potent with many more crystals

2. More light... in my opinion you can never have too much light (but im sure you possibly can)

3. CO2! that my friend is the most important thing on this list... ill say it again... CO2!

4. music... deep down i feel that if you give some symphony music to your ladies they will ultimately be happier and if your like me then... if your ladies are happy i am happy.

seriously put atlest twice the amount of co2 that is recodmended than you should be putting in the flower stage and in 3 days you will see a dramatic difference. If i were you i would, but atleast a 40lb co2 talk right now and regulator and a rubber hose that runs all around your room that is approx a foot above your tallest lady (because co2 is heavier, and you mite wanna invest into a co2 alarm for the house). I made the mistake in buying a 20 lb tank and i run out in 3 days and my op is 50 ladies 10x10x8 room. its pricey but well worth it if you run the numbers.

im assuming you have about as many ladies as me sooooooo..... if ea. plant produces 7 more grams than it would have originally with out co2 and you have 30 plants that would be an investment around 1000.00 that would make you 210 grams extra, depending on where you live if i sold that where im from were talkin 2000.00 easy. thats a prop of a grand right there and you have a tank forever and your buds will sell sooooo much faster. i know that 7 grams is alot per plant but by the size of what you got i think you can achieve it.

Dude i hoped this helped let me know how it works out, i promise if you dont have co2 now and you see the difference you will be asking yourself why the hell diddnt i do this before.

Those look like Sativas, but if I'm wrong ignore the rest of this post :P

Try a switch to Indicas for your next crop. Most of the time Indicas have a shorter flowering time, more potency and typically a higher weight yield per plant. Their bushiness means less plants per square foot, but it's always good to have less plants on the off chance you get a visit from the cops :D

I'm not saying there arent' some great Sativas out there, but Indicas are the indoor grower's friend!

u got like 15 days get on it ! i would reccomend just a flowering booster.u did the rite thing getting your temps down high temps will take your yeild rite down to popcorn

Sprinkle some sand all over your buds you plan on selling and just leave the bud your going to smoke yourself untouched ..... hahaha

I thought I remember that he was growing OG Kush, I thought they were a 8 week strain but yours don't look like they have 2 more weeks, Whatever you are going to do get on it my friend and good luck. More pics please...JR

Most people say not to use CO2 after 6 weeks. I shut mine off then. To improve weight now I would use some CalMag and other micronutes out there until flush. then flush with Clearex, which seems to help the plant use its existing nutrients up and finish off nicely. If you are not worried about messing with your taste of the smoke, and just want larger buds, run CO2 the whole time. With your high temps it will certainly help growth, maybe not taste and potency? Good luck, it sure is fun to grow your own medicine.

thanks all for trying to help. I will be adding the molasses to tonights feeding. Every feeding should have it? I know to boil and mix the molasses that way. Cant add co2 this time :( next grow. I will continue with kool bloom until I cant feed anymore. Crossing my fingers for some good weight.
