NEWBIE withBIG PH Problems in my heated airoponic propagator..... PLEASE HELP.....

hi, im looking for some advice on how and why my ph levels keep going through the roof, i reg check them and it seems like i just get it right with my test kit then several hours later its gone back up. i just cant understand it. im using buffer number 4 to lower it as my water is really hard and the ph is off the scale. any ideas would be greatfully recived.

hi all, and thanks for responding Im just using a cheap kit bought from a hydro shop with the paper bit to check against for now for ph testing, plus i bought a bottle of buffer4 and buffer 7, ive used a full bottle of buffer 4 so far, i did buy a bottle of calabration fluid but i def did not use that as ph down. i know not to use the buffer 7 as my water already to high and off the scale my tests come back a dark blue
i just cant understand it as i mixed a spray bottle up with the same kit and water and its fine a yellow/green colour, its really strange. ive heard of using vinigar to lower the ph as a cheap way? could it have something to do with my water quality in the first place?

google what you can use for ph up = down
i just get mine from the hydro shop
now stop using the buffer

What jimmy said. You are using the test calibration fluid to try to drop your ph. You need PH down and/or PH up to adjust the PH in the tanks.

Here dude Below is what you use to adjust your ph......buffer 4 and 7 are the calibration solutions you use to calibrate your pen.......you got things mixed up....
