2 250 or 1 400?

HOw many plants could I grow inside with 1 400 watt HPS?

Would I be able to yield more(grow more plants) with 2 250 watt bulbs?

400 is probally cheaper, also less hassle to put up and adjust as oppse to 2 seperate lights. depends on your space, 2 250 will probally cover more area....

for your best cost verse harvest, go with a 600 watt.

I would go with a 600 watt hps.

it's the most economical cost/elect cost / vs lums.

and get a conversion bulb.

I got the whole shebang light (600 watt hps ) surpream reflector/balast and a conversion buld for just over 200 at

i think you are right, I saw that on the web page, we dont ship to canada.

For me I would choose one 400W. I think the advantage in light penetration is superior to two sources of less penetration.
But this is only my opinion.

Also, if I had to pick only one from among 400 600 or 1000 Watts....I would chose the 600 as my preference!

I switched to 10, 26 watt blue cfls for the veg I'm going to bump it up to 18 on wend. , and I'll use my 600 watt hps for the buds.

I might even go 27 cfls if I see the need and space them around, sides and under.
