Yeah if you call from a pay phone and they turned out to be relatives of a neighbor, no harm no foul. I did that for some suspicious looking people and it turned out they were dealing heroin.

I believe this guy is in the UK,and In the UK the cops would NOT stake out a house unless it was a very major grow or a dealers house.. Even then they would ask a neighbor to use their house a a viewpoint, whilst gathering video/photogphic evidence of the subject.
They GENERALLY tend to use vans/trucks n shit, decal'd with utility company logos etc to throw of suspicion.
If the Cops have reason to raid your house, they will do exactly that...no fucking around,they'll Get a warrant and kick your door off at 4am.
If this guy only had a small,personal grow, they would've confiscated his growing gear,plants and he would be given a court order( basically a slap on the wrist)...UNLESS it was a repeat offence, then he might get held to appear before a judge..but there's a 99% chance he wouldve been bailed to appear before the judge on a given date...unless it was a LARGE scale grow.
The cops wouldnt really have a problem with him asking who the fuck they were..they dont get to crabby bout that shit, theyd just feed you some blag story. All he had to do, was explain that he'd seen them and that as theres always hella people who get their houses ripped off at this time of year, that he was just lookin out for his neighourhood..community watch or whatever.
That would be a feasable reason to confront them, without arousing too much suspicion..
Unlike the cops in hayward/bay area, who will bust anyone for anything however small, esp at the end of each month when they try to meet the crime figures theyve been alotted, to keep the beaurocrats happy.
Hell, we use get stopped for pretty much nothin at all by those nazi fuckers, altho i guess in our case it was a lil more of a case of guilty by association, as my ex's father was VERY well known in the cali area in the 70' n 80's as, shall we say, a "distributor"...when he got released we used to have feds outside the house alla time..lol, he use go out n see if they wanted coffee etc..haha.. man they used to get real bent outta shape.
Also, Altho there are PI companies in the UK, they are only legally entitled to work in certain fields, ie divorces/cheating partners,health insurance rip-offs, etc.
They wouldnt be doin a stake out on his house..they dont work with cops.
I'm not saying he 100% hasnt been busted, but if he has, there's obviously alot more to the story than a FEW plants, and that there's more odds of it bein someone who's been waiting to rip off his grow, esp if he's been flapping his gums to people about it..We all know that shit happens alot..maybe they took his 'puter too..hell if youre in there,ya may aswell take anying else valuable thats laying around.
hopefully he's sat at home chillin with those close to him...

ASIANS lol when i got to the beach, theres always this big Vietnamese family there fishing, and they keep EVERYTHING they catch. Once I caught a skate (its like a stingray) and this girl RAN over to me when she saw I was throwing it back, and wanted to take it!
I felt bad for the girl, but damn, eating those things would be nasty.
Anyways hope this dude is not in jail, I wanna know what happened.

im from england, and the police wouldnt, sit outside his house, for him to see, them, there not that stupid, if they thougth, he was growing , or dealing. they would just kick the door down. after they got a warrant.but even if he had been locked up. he would be on bail,by now, not in jail, promise.
and as for asians"chinks" there renting houses all over england, and living and growing in every room, of the houses they rent. there is 20+ houses with 500+plants,a week getting busted in our city.
and most of them are illegal, and are paying there fair over to england, thats the asians.
now if the police see lots of chinks comming and going from a house there growing, and paying there fair over here, prob, to the people smugglers.
