Ive actually seen the picture you put up, of the lst plant going all the way around, i definitely want to try something like that. That is an example and a half my friend! But again what's the benefit over LST or is it just another way? Seriously asking cause I wanna learn. Not playing devil's advocate if it's coming across like that.
I mean in both cases it seems a benefit would be only having to worry about lights from above, another would be lots of smaller bud potentially with more yeild. But they seem really similar and I would think that LST'ing would be a more efficient option because you can still move the potted plant around if need be. So...yeah those are my questions, lol
Okay... baja! you jerk!! lol Nothing has happened yet I planted the seed yesterday!
That spiral LST is what I originally wanted to do with my plant I LST'd on my current grow but it took to long so I just bent her straight over.
I chose a SOG over a SCrog because it is almost like a cycle. I just like the fact that I can harvest every week! i don't know if there are benefits to it or not?
Check this link--- V-Scrog mk I was going to do that, but again I opted out of it for the above reasons.
So I am totally willing to take pollen sacs from any males that happen to pop in your guys' gardens.AND:
Several gardeners I recently visited are breeding their own seeds. They continue to find males in the garden. When a male is found, it is assessed for quality. Many of them follow Scott Blake's (Greenhouse Seeds) advice: Smell is directly related to taste. If he smells something interesting or different in a young male plant when he rubs the stem a little, he keeps it. This resin production characteristic is very important in the young males.
