That is an example and a half my friend! But again what's the benefit over LST or is it just another way? Seriously asking cause I wanna learn. Not playing devil's advocate if it's coming across like that.
I mean in both cases it seems a benefit would be only having to worry about lights from above, another would be lots of smaller bud potentially with more yeild. But they seem really similar and I would think that LST'ing would be a more efficient option because you can still move the potted plant around if need be. So...yeah those are my questions, lol

Ive actually seen the picture you put up, of the lst plant going all the way around, i definitely want to try something like that.

Looks sweet right!?!? I wanna try it too but I'm not messing with these babies anymore. Maybe the next time around. Probably less stress on the plant then the scrog too. Not sure but seems like it might be easier to work and therefore less stressful. Worth a shot anyway. Maybe do a single plant scrog and a LST like that see which one does better. Would be a fun experiment. Maybe i'll try it if Natty doesn't snatch the idea up himself after reading these posts, lol

Okay... baja! you jerk!! lol Nothing has happened yet I planted the seed yesterday!

That spiral LST is what I originally wanted to do with my plant I LST'd on my current grow but it took to long so I just bent her straight over.

I chose a SOG over a SCrog because it is almost like a cycle. I just like the fact that I can harvest every week! i don't know if there are benefits to it or not?

Check this link--- V-Scrog mk I was going to do that, but again I opted out of it for the above reasons.

yeah looks like a lot of work. That was only 3 plants. Crazy. So maybe that's a benefit of scrog over lst'ing.

i have no idea man lol.

So I lightly brushed the soil mix off the top to check and see if the seed was a dud... well it has about a mm long taproot coming out of it. So the Germ is a success so far!

I found something interesting to share with everyone :

Grafting indicas

The fastest way to make an indica cross grow a large root system is to graft it onto a large sativa root system. One grower plans to graft several clones, including Skunk #1, Jack Herer, Orange Bud and White Widow, onto the rootstock of a Mexican sativa plant with a huge root system.

The grafting process is simple and easy. He simply cuts a "V" in the main stem of the sativa plant. He cuts the clone's stem into a point, and fits it into the "V" in the stem of the rootstock. He then uses splints and string to bind the union. He sets the plant in the shade for a few days to heal. After a few days the plant loses a few leaves and recuperates. Now he plants the plant in the prepared planting hole.

AND:

Several gardeners I recently visited are breeding their own seeds. They continue to find males in the garden. When a male is found, it is assessed for quality. Many of them follow Scott Blake's (Greenhouse Seeds) advice: Smell is directly related to taste. If he smells something interesting or different in a young male plant when he rubs the stem a little, he keeps it. This resin production characteristic is very important in the young males.

So I am totally willing to take pollen sacs from any males that happen to pop in your guys' gardens.
