i put these U2 kush girls in one of the the flowering rooms exactly 15 days ago today.

this is what they look like today. they have doubled in size easy.

the suckers are going to do another 18 inches at LEAST before they are done flowering

if your not familiar with U2 kush, i highly reccomend it. very pest and disease resistant, climate change resistant ( I.E. hot to cold/cold to hot,ect...right now my daytimes are in the mid-80s, and night times are in the high 30s, and the U2s i have outside love it) ,over and under nute and over/under water resistant, ect. and its some of the best ive had. very narco. EXTREMELY newbie friendly, so you new guys take note!

the one on the right thats closest is a nice seed grown juicyfruit im flowering to have some BBQ smoke for the friends and relatives....that are "215" of course!

dont pay attention to the little squirts in the floor. some im sexing, some were haggared from the wind , rain, ect, ect and i decided to go ahead and flower them just for shits and grns...LOL

Looking good, wish I could start a grow room. I only have an empty closet enough space for a grow box maybe, hey while I'm here you ever heard of the Cool Cab grow box. I'm looking @ picking one up or having one built.

HAHAHA!...thats my "pothead" look......

we were posting at the same time...

never heard of them. ive never used a grow closet myself, but ive built a few, and it wuld be cheaper to go that route. buy your plywood/particleboard ( or whatever you want to use) local and buy the rest of the stuff on either amazon or one of the internet based grow sites.

i built an 8ftX8ftX4ft light proof "sexing cabinet" awhile back for sexing plants, and it works wonderfully. its big enough if you had a small grow going you could flower a couple of plants in it without issues. i even put a baffle in the top and bottom with a couple of computer fans, one sucking and one blowing (just like my ex wife and her sister at the same time..glad i divorced her ass though, but i miss that!.LOL) for good circulation. every plant ive sexed in it has shown within a couple of days. great setup.

your in cali and never heard of U2 kush?...YOU LEAD A SHELTERED LIFE...lol

from what ive heard, , and dont quote me, but they say the genetics are hindu kush and lowryder. im familiar with both strains intimately, and have crossed them myself and the crosses ive done ( with known pure strain plants) didnt come close. who knows, all i know is that its some killer bud!

Nice plants, good sir!
Is that upside-down #3 washtub being used as a ventilation hood? If so, an excellent idea that I'll have to remember!
Though, if it's not, would love to know it's purpose. :-)

HAHAHA!.....saw that eh?

actually, its a 1000w metal halide light i put together years ago. i couldnt see paying the high prices that some of these places charge for a plain old reflector, so i bought a mogul socket ( $2.95), and extension cord ( 10 bucks) , an eyebolt ( for a hanger, 29 cents)and a can of ultra high heat flat titanium white spray paint ($7.98 ) and made my own ( already had a 1000w ballast). funny thing is, it reflects more light than my other 1000w factory fixtures.....works like a charm. i have had it for years and use it all the time. i DO by the way use a couple of larger galvanized water troughs in other areas as vent hoods. they are cheap, easy to work with and do a wonderful job.

if you look behind me in the pik, youll see my ventilation, a thermostatically controlled attic fan right thru the wall just above light height. the temp in that specific room ;) stays right at 78 degrees during the day, and 68 at night, with a constant humidity of about 40%, controlled by a 65pt dehumidifier.

pretty nifty

Thanks for the reply!
I almost thought it was a light hood, but wasn't sure either way, and I appreciate the info!
A great idea, and I can imagine it would do quite nicely with a 1000k or even 2@ 600w bulbs. Will have to remember this, so am putting it in my list of items for when I move from a 4' x 4' growbox to a full room. And, yes, definitely noticed the fan in the wall (first thing my eye was drawn to, actually).
A well thought out room you have there!
And thanks for not uploading any of your "special kola" pics!

WHAT?......my kolas as nice as the next one!

thats kool though cause i dont want any "kola envy" going on around here!..BAWHAHAHAH!

yea, i just couldnt see paying a hundred bucks for a damn reflector when they are so damn simple and easy to make. if yu go that route, make sure when you get your mogul socket to get the one that either has the bolt on the end to tighten it down or the bracket so you can bolt it down. most hardware stores have them so you shouldnt have any problems finding them.

Nice looking plants. I'm hoping to see a similar transition when I start my flowering. & I as well have never heard of U2 Kush (really not that big on U2 as a band) but it looks like a very hardy plant!
