hahaha, well there are 4 Jack Herer seed germinating right now, we just need one of them, I'm not even going to touch them until tomorrow night, gotta learn to be patient, lol

Been looking into my heating issues and hope to have that resolved by Sunday. If the Jack seeds sprout by Friday they'll go into the tote with the cfl's. I want the tent to be perfect conditions for these, it's my favorite strain :D

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES This is similar to what I have and it works beautifully. $30 is the average price for those, I actually paid $27 and change at home depot.

Really??? I didn't see any at Home Depot, he's going to call me tomorrow morning with the actual price. He has some in stock, this one he has to order. Check out their site and let me know if you see anything I could use (or you guys maybe...) I'll ask him tomorrow what the limit is, I doubt there is though, especially since he's a manager there :D

You gotta go to the section where they have the ducts and shit like that. It was hidden on a top shelf near there in my home depot.

That one is 160cfm, the one my friend is 180, not sure if it'll make that much of a difference but it's worth a shot

Yes Bill, my friend gets discounts there, I'll know more about it tomorrow

Cool man. I think in the end they're pretty similar. Actually the one you're getting looks pretty rugged so maybe it's a better quality. Either way I'm sure it'll do the trick for ya.

I hope so, I'm so over this heating problem, I want to move on to getting a carbon filter and nutes for when it's time to flower

cool. They looked close but as long as u get a good seal and can create a lower pressure system in there it'll just keep sucking all that heat out for you.

This tent is pretty cool, it's sealed pretty good. I'm thinking I might get a 4in next for intake too

You don't want an intake that'll ruin the whole low pressure system you'll have going on in there. All you need to do is open the intake ports for a passive intake this will be much better for your tent than an intake fan.

we could build a cool tube for your light, that would solve all your problems
I have the tools to make it, you would just have to supply the material.
I was looking into those, home made and purpose built, even with the new fan I still want to go that route, let me know how much I'll need up front. Don't forget, my ballast is attached to my hood so it might be a little more complicated

Gotcha, I'll add it when I get it and see if that solves it. I'd still like to do the cool tube method as well

Cool tubes are awesome. If you guys can find a way to make one that'll take care of a lot if not all of the heat issue.
Obviously you're still gonna wanna keep that exhaust fan in the tent any way to keep circulating fresh air in there.
And man that should be it for that tent!
