I just have a hard time getting around the whole "Meth cook hero" thing. Perhaps I just need to watch it to "Get it".

Who gave you the impression he was a hero?Shows nowadays i've noticed have become less and less Hero vs Villian and more protagonist vs antagonist like the 'hero' is just as flawed as the villian in some ways ya know I guess people enjoy realism now

think about it like this ... would people say it was a good show if it was only a meth cook hero?

Never watched it - it is just my impression of the plot line from the commercials.

Not nit picking the show tho, as I watch it religiously. I just hope they don't just write off that theme or simply ignore it.

The show is EPIC. One of the greatest shows I've ever seen in my entire life. I followed the first season closely and now I am waiting to resume my watching from season 2 on when I buy the sets. Good call on this show ~ BCbuddy :leaf:

Been watching them 'meth' commercials 2 much on the telly ??

How is it legal to show .... how to grow weed ??
Drug addicts .... don't make any shows .... they do drugs. Crack head is a cocaine smoker and not an ice smoker ... are you just that uninformed ...or u just using slang here ?

Don't get me wrong .... I am not telling people here they should smoke ice .... but realize that this is a drug forum.
Please stop preaching .... have you seen the show ??

Ya, there is 100 useless stoners (stinky scabby dishonest twitchy unemployable morons) for every speed freak out there .... and if you have truly been there .... and you are of age to actually perceive things .... you should realize that there is
people out there who do drugs and people who let drugs do them. (it all depends on the individual .... and the reason, he or she is doing drugs to begin with .... my friend)
If you use drugs to escape 'everyday' reality .... you will be useless within that reality ..... no mater what drug u decide to abuse. Some of us use drugs as 'tools'.
No, I don't speed myself .... but to hear a judgment coming from a stoner on a drug forum ... is asinine.

P.S In Breaking Bad ... the meth theme serves as a propellant 'insert any generic drug here' to establish the character set ... and move the story of a 'cancer man' .... and his life .... it is hardly about glorifying the use of this substance. It definitely does not show you how to make it.
Have you seen even one episode kind sir ??

LOL, I don't like to compare ... cause it's all different shit period. But it's all drugs man. I just smoke thc to take the edge off. The appetite thing is a good side effect as well. If one is looking for am appetite stimulant that is. Like I said, some folks use drugs as tools, and some TOOLs use drugs to get high and escape. Then they sell their babies for the next hit.

I am just trying to stick to the subject of this thread ... Breaking Bad ... as good show. IMHO
