3 gallon bucket in an aeroponic system big enough to support a fully mature plant?

Hey All, i plan on making a Aeroponic system with an 18 gallon res and a 3 gallon bucket for the plant built off stinkbuddies plans.

3 gallons seems a bit shallow to hold roots from a fully mature plant, however i could totally be wrong. I really dont want the roots touching the water in the res!

Thanks

If you are talking about Stinkbud's Single, then you want to follow his plans and use a 5 gal. bucket. The man is a genius at aeroponic design - many have tried to second guess him - many have failed....

haha that is why i am asking. his plans call for a 3 gallon, but that seems a bit small and a 5 gallon would be too tall maybe.

I have a Stinky single running right now. Use a 3 gallon bucket. The roots will touch the water eventually. That's fine though, just use an air pump and get some bubbles in the res for circulation.
