Building A Grow Closet 3ft x 6.5ft x 5ft

Hey there,
I'm building a grow box in a small closet space and I was hoping for any help people could give me. The box will take up almost the entire closet space leaving just a small area for an inline fan exhaust with a carbon filter. honestly the box is mainly to contain the smell since I'm living in an apartment with some other people who don't want to smell it. The inside walls of the box will be covered in panda film or mylar, I havent decided which yet

I've been thinking about getting a 400W HPS/MH combo (something like this http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=49398)
and putting it dead center in the grow box, and then putting two CFL sockets on either side of the HID light to cover the outside edges with smaller watt bulbs, all of these lights will be run to a single timer on the wall near the door since space will be tight.

I plan on running ducting on the ceiling from the light to a 6inch inline fan hooked to a carbon scrubber

I'm very new to growing and after a lot of research I've been thinking about putting two plants in this space and growing them in 5 gallon buckets of soil using LST techniques since the closet's height is just under 5 ft.

I haven't decided on which strain yet, but im looking for something with a good yield, that packs a punch, and will do well with LST. I'm willing to throw down money on the nutes I need to get them to flourish.

any input that people have would be greatly appreciated bongsmilie

LSTing is better done during veg, the plant responds to it much better. An autoflower has 2 weeks of veg tops, not much to really manipulate. If you just wanted to tie them over a bit and thats all I guess you could LST an autoflower. I've usually seen it done to increase yields based on space restrictions, I don't see an autoflower being anywhere near as efficient.

ok I feel that, everything I've researched about LST stresses that it's more of feeling where to tie the main stem down to then an actual science. however, since this is my first grow completely on my own I was thinking maybe a northern lights, or a northern lights hybrid. I've heard it can take a lot of beginner mistakes and still come out shining
