hey purple glad to have you along. and i ordered them from nirvana. im going to try and post some pics up tmrw morning of my ice and fem kings kush which just sprouted through the soil a couple hours ago. hopefully it will work this time

okay ive been seriously ignoring this thread im sorry i havnt been updating at all, so first things first took out 2 more males so far i have 2 more ICE plants left one if a female she started showing hairs today i used some LST on her to keep her short and even light distribution through her canopy. the other ICE is too young still to show sex but im rooting for a female it would suck only getting 1 female out of 10 seeds...im gonna have to write nirvana about that. also my kings kush is doing really good very lush green cant wait to see her bud. I also germed and planted a sour kush seed which just started poking through the soil today. so now in my cabinet i have 2 ICE plants one kings kush and one sour kush. im going to have to steal my brothers digi cam because mine is broke and idk why. im actually gonna go take it right now and get some pics up for you guys in like 30 mins. sorry for the slacking just been lazy

okay so like i said here are the pics. i know there not the greatest quality but after i finished taking all the pictures on my brothers cam i realized there was no memory card in the cam -.- so i had to go grab my moms cam instead and just snapped a few quick pics for u guys so u can kinda get the idea. the biggest two are the ICE im sure ull be able to tell which one i used LST the smallest one is the kings kush and the sour kush hasnt fully poped out of its soil yet

also in the first pic that smaller ice plant has been wilting like that ever sense she started and im not really sure why it is pretty hot in there..but ive been keeping my AC running and the doors open on the cabinet and the other plants dont seem to be wilting like that, maybe its just a sensitive pheno? maybe not?

well i wrote a note to nirvana telling them i only got one female out of the 10 reg seeds they sent me. But alice told me that usually never happens and ive been very unlucky and that she is going to send me more ice seeds and hopefully this time ill get a 50/50 male to female ratio this time. Gotta love nirvana ;p

the smaller of the two Ice turned out to be another male... so im down to just 1 female ice out of 10 seeds and i fem kings kush and 1 fem sour kush. gonna have a pretty nice selection of smoke when harvest comes around my ice is starting to show more and more pistils now on the upper cannopy may lollipop it and just have all top buds sense im LST anyways, has anyone ever grown out any of these strains? id love to hear how the kings kush is im really excited for that. grape ape crossed with OG kush should be tasty

nice thats good to hear thx for stopping by im going to order 1 dutch passions blueberry fem, 1 green house kings kush fem, and one barneys farm blue cheese fem. all from the pick n mix cant wait till the promo gets here. i plan on crossing a male ice i get with the blueberry just sounded like it would be good to me, im still a "noob" i guess but i like to learn by trial and error anyways im getting some pics up of my plants today there doing decent there starting to put out there 3rd set of leaves i keep the closet open to sort of let some of the heat in there out. oh and also got my mh bulb in the mail yesterday i dont have it running yet because i have the lighting schedule on 12/12 already and i dont want to switch them into veg and shock them but should i just put the mh in and keep the lights 12/12? then once i notice pre flowers switch back to the hps?

If you have both MH lights and HPS lights.. you could just use both of them during flowering. This would give you a dual spectrum.. which they is even better than using just HPS lights alone.. during flowering. I've tried it before.. can't say I was able to see a major difference.. but it sure didn't hurt anything.. I can say that much.

That would be my suggestion to ya. Just an idea anyhow.. I like to try and help the new growers when/if I can. Everyone has to start at the same point. .. which is the beginning.

well im going to do it from youngest to oldest



sour kush 6 days old its still pretty small.


the kings kush is about 2 in a half weeks or so im just guessing and shes looking beautiful nice fat green leafs.

the Ice is just exploding with new growth shes about a month and 2 weeks i think now and im starting to see more pistils shooting out in a week shes going to be looking nice.
All comments and or advice is welcome let me know you guys think!

I've already harvested them. That was my last grow. I actually kept up a journal there for a little bit. Had a good run with it.. but then I started having problems with my neighbors. So, therefore the best thing I could do was take them so the one and only one person that knows I grow and he's family.. so no worries there. Anyhow, I even transported both HPS lamps as well... since my friend didn't have any lights. Tho, I guess even if I couldn't have transported my lights to over there, I suppose I could have always just gone out and bought enough CFL bulbs to hopefully at least match the lumen output from both lamps combined. Which is 32,000 lumens combined; 16,000 lumens per unit.

But anyhow.. yeah that was my last grow. But, I did have one seed left from the 5pack. So its growing as we speak.. still in the sexing cycle. Hasn't started to actually flower just yet. But she's been under 12/12 for 6 days today, but tomorrow will be the last day of week #1 of sexing.
Hopefully she'll start flowering in another 7 days or so.. but if not that's fine too. I go on about my daily life every day.. just like I would if I wasn't growing two or three plants every 3.5 months or so. The timer takes care of the lighting for me.. all I need to do really is keep her watered and occasionally feed her nutes. But, I think since this is my last plant of the Ice strain, I'm going to try and retain myself from giving it nutes. I mean, I'm going to maybe feed her 4 times during the entire flowering cycle... just to see what she can do on her own. I'll keep giving her Molasses, she loves the Molasses. Damn, I'm just rambling away aren't I?

My bad buddy.. sorry about that. But yeah, also, I should be getting my newest order in any day now. I ordered the Feminized 5pck Nirvana AK48. Should be here by tomorrow or Tuesday.. since most people have Monday off.. the day after the 4th. I ordered from Nirvana again.. I love that place. Every single order (total of 5 now) that I have made from Nirvana.. has reached me within 10 days; in tip-top shape; no smashed ones; and I've had a few probs with one seed here and there.. sure. You'll get that no matter where you get your beans.. IMO. But I've always gotten my orders quickly and in good shape when ordering from Nirvana. The same goes for Attitude as well. I've made 3 orders from them.. always gotten to me within 8-10 days or so. About the same as Nirvana. Which is quick enough.

hey guys i just got some molasses today and i was wondering if any of you know how much i should mix per gallon of water? molasses is all there going to get fed

I use it two feedings in a row. With blooming nutrients
then with plain water next feeding. Then i skip 2 and so on.

well i finished tying down all the branches on my ice i got every bud site pretty much even light distribution im going to take some pictures up here in a day or two im going to start doing weekly updates because things are going to start getting interesting now that there starting to flower. more and more white hairs are showing on my Ice lady and the kings kush should start showing some preflowers any day now. my sour kush is still very small but shes growing slowly but surely.

my Ice leaves are curling alot now. they've always curled a tiny bit at the tip but not the whole leaf is starting to curl down im not sure why the tops havnt really gotten any closer to the light and as far as i know its a heat issue, but its also the only plant doing it my kings kush is doing fine but i have noticed some brown spots on the lower fan leaves im going to get some pics up today i think and show u guys what im talking about hopefully ill get some feedback
